Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has today, January 24, 2022, issued an important notice announcing the dates for NTPC CBT 2. The computer-based test (CBT) 2 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) will be conducted from February 15 to 19, 2022. Contrary to CBT-1, the second stage is all set to be organised in a single-phase manner across the country. A total of 1,26,30,885 candidates had appeared for RRB NTPC CBT-1 out of which 7,05,446 have been shortlisted for the second stage.

RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam Details
Today, an important public notice announcing the RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam date was published on the official website rrbmuzaffarpur.gov.in. Published in PDF format, this notice clarified that the second stage will be organised from February 15 to 19, 2022. This nationwide recruitment drive has several levels i.e., 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7th CPC. Although all levels will have a separate 2nd stage exam, RRB will be conducting a common second-stage exam for all posts coming under each level.
A candidate must note that the exam roll number for RRB NTPC CBT-2 shall remain the same as provided for CBT-1. Moreover, in case a candidate is appearing for posts coming under different levels, separate call letters will be issued to him/her. Although the test city for those levels will remain the same, the centres may vary. So, candidates must carry the right call letter to the appropriate test centre so they do not miss out on any exam.

RRB NTPC CBT-2 Call Letter
RRB will be activating the test city and date intimation link by February 03, 2022, on all RRB websites (both main and regional portals). Even the travelling authority for SC and ST candidates will be made available by this date. Call letters to shortlisted candidates will be issued 4 days prior to the exam date mentioned in the link. So, candidates must make it a point to check this link for determining the admit card release date.
In addition to the hard copy of e-admit card, candidates are also expected to carry their Aadhaar Card to the allotted exam centre. RRB will be conducting an Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication of candidates at all exam RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam centres. This verification process will be organised prior to exam commencement. So, it is important to carry the original copy of this ID to the centre.
RRB NTPC CBT-2 Rules & Instructions
Under the current circumstances of COVID-19, candidates are advised to follow all social-distancing protocols prescribed by the RRB. Additionally, they must wear a mask at all times and sanitise their hands frequently during the entire duration of the RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam.
