RRB NTPC Exam from tomorrow; instructions out

Railway Recruitment Board(RRB) will conduct the first exam of RRB NTPC 7th phase tomorrow, on July 23, 2021. The exam will also be held on July 24, 26, and 31, 2021. It will be held at over 260 centers in 76 cities across the country. RRB is holding the 7th phase for the remaining 2.78 lakh candidates.

The exam will be held as a computer based test. It will be a 90 minute examination, in which 100 questions will be asked from maths, general Intelligence and Reasoning, and general awareness. 45 questions will be asked from general awareness and 30 questions each will be asked in the remaining two sections.

Each question in RRB NTPC CBT 1 will be of 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each incorrect response.

Candidates who will be appearing for the exam must know these last-minute preparation tips.

#1. Try and solve as many past year questions papers as you can. Many a time, the questions are repeated in the exam.

#2. To boost confidence, take mock test before appearing for the exam.

#3. It is highly recommended that candidates do have a look at questions that were asked in phases 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

#4. Since the highest weightage in the exam is for general awareness, have a quick round-up of all that has happened this year.

#5. In RRB NTPC, there is a negative marking in the exam. So, do not opt for the hit and try method in the exam.

#6. During the exam, candidates should finish all those questions which are easy. To make this process faster, use the ‘mark as review’ option in those questions which are a bit tough. Then, attempt these questions later on.

#7. Keep a tap on the time as well when taking the exam. Do not waste too much time on a certain question.

#8. State of mind is very important during the exam, so remain calm and do your best.

The admit cards have been issued to the candidates for the exam and in it, all the important instructions and guidelines for the exam are mentioned.

The most important is that the candidates must reach the exam center on time. At the exam hall, candidates have to maintain social distancing and stand on the floor markers at the entry gate point. At the gate, candidates will be frisked by the staff. To do so, the staff will use HHMD device and temperature guns. Only those candidates will be allowed to enter who will have normal body temperature.

Next, at the entry gate, the e-call letter will be checked. This shall be done via a bar code gun. Following this, candidates will be directed to their respective labs.

Apart from this, candidates need to wear marks throughout the exam and spitting at the center is not allowed. Sanitizers will be provided at the center.

At the exam hall, candidates will have to show e-call letter, a valid id card, and a COVID-19 self-declaration form. If any of these items are missing, candidates shall not be allowed to take the test.

All the best to all the candidates who will be appearing for RRB NTPC 7th phase. The answer key for the exam will be released after this phase is over.
