The second shift of RRB NTPC 2020 exam held today on December 28, 2020, is over now. Much like the first shift exam held in the morning, the question paper of the RRB NTPC 2020 exam was of easy to moderate difficulty level in the second shift too. Candidates appearing in the second shift of RRB NTPC 2020 exam held today, reportedly encountered an easy to moderate difficulty level question paper. There are three sections in the NTPC exam namely General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence & Reasoning. Each of these sections consisted of a mix of easy to moderate difficulty level questions.
Referring to the exam pattern, 40 questions are asked from the General Awareness section while the rest of the sections comprise of 30 questions each. Candidates who are appearing in the exam on subsequent days can expect the level of difficulty to be moderate as well.
Since the overall level of the question paper was easy to moderate, it can be expected that the number of good attempts is going to be significantly high. From memory-based reports by candidates who appeared in the second shift exam, out of 40 total questions in General Awareness, candidates could accurately attempt around 30-33 questions.
In General Intelligence & Reasoning, the number of good attempts is reportedly in the range of 24 to 26. Similarly in the Mathematics section, the number of good attempts is reportedly as high as 25 out of 30 questions.
Similar to the first shift, the number of good attempts has expectedly remained high in the second shift exam as well. Overall, it can be expected that well-prepared candidates may have been able to answer around 80 to 84 questions easily.
Much like the first shift exam today, the majority of the questions in the General Awareness section were based on the topics of History, Polity, Science and Current Affairs. 2-3 questions were also reportedly asked from Static GK and Geography topics.
In the Mathematics section, Mensuration, Simple & Compound Interest, and Number System based questions formed the majority. However, questions were also asked from Ratio-Proportion, Simplification, Time & Distance, Statistics etc.
Majority of the questions in General Intelligence & Reasoning part were covered from Linear Puzzle, Analogy, Odd one out and Coding-Decoding. Candidates appearing in subsequent dates of NTPC 2020 exam must revise these topics before the exam.

RRB NTPC 2020 Expected Cut Offs
Since the RRB NTPC 2020 exam on its first day, today exhibited an easy to moderate difficulty level paper in both the shifts, it is expected that the cut-offs may soar high in the range of 80 to 85 marks for General candidates. Candidates must note that the cut-offs are determined on the basis of a number of factors one of which, is the level of difficulty of the paper. In addition, the cut-offs are also determined on the basis of availability of seats and the number of candidates who appear in the exam.
