RRB Kolkata has, over examprog.com/rail/rrb, published an important notification today. The Railway Recruitment Board has notified all the documents in one place which candidates will be required to present for the document verification process. These documents have to be brought along with the call letter.
Candidates who have been declared qualified for document verification for RRB JE 2019, must immediately go to rrbkolkata.gov.in (the site automatically redirects to examprog.com/rail/rrb ). There one of the top most notifications dated November 8, 2019 is “Original Certificates/documents (as applicable) which a candidate must produce during Document Verification along with E-call letter”. Go through this.
This list contains a total of 22 documents. However candidates must not panic, as all documents are not applicable for everyone. Many of the documents are common for all. However few are as per category or other factors.
The RRB says ” lf a candidate fails to produce the above mentioned original certificates on the date of document verification, his/her candidature is liable to be rejected and no further correspondence will be entertained in the matter. Further, please note that furnishing false information, deliberate suppression of information or using unfair means at any stage of exam will render the candidate disqualified and he/she will be debarred from appearing in any selection or appointment in Railway or to other Government services and if appointed, the service of such candidate is liable to be terminated in future. “
RRB JE CBT 2 result was announced a week ago. From RRB Kolkata, a total of 2,466 candidates have been shortlisted. The board released DV call letter a few days. Link for the same is also available on the official website, and ultimately leads to kolkata.rrbonlinereg.in.
The board further states, in today’s notification that SC/ST candidates who had opted for free travel authority can see their free travel authority in the DV call letter itself. The same can be availed to get free train travel to attend RRB document verification. However to get it, they will have to show original caste certificate to authorised railway staff, as required. Also, they should have on person two call letters – one for travel pass, and one for the document verification.
Moreover the notification says ” The candidates need to attend Medical Examination after successful Document Verification duly paying Rs 24 towards medical examination fee (candidates are advised to bring necessary change). The Date, time & place of Medical Examination will be intimated at the time of DV. Candidates may note that they should be prepared to stay for 3 to 4 days for DV/Medical examination at their own cost. Only for special medical tests as per advise of Doctor, if facilities does not exist in the hospital, the candidate has to get the test done from outside hospital at his own cost. “
