Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Ajmer has simultaneously issued the admit card for RRB JE CBT 2 for 28 August exam. The official website of RRB Ajmer is rrbajmer.gov.in, however, there is no update there about admit card. Nevertheless the score card download link leads to the common page where RRB Ajmer is updating admit card, results, and here the admit card download intimation is put up. The latest flash news on the official website of RRB Bilaspur, http://www.rrbbilaspur.gov.in/ says “CEN No 03/2018 – Link for downloading E-Call Letter for 2nd stage CBT from 24.08.2019(Updated on 23.08.2019)” . On clicking the link, we are directed to https://bilaspur.rrbonlinereg.in/. Here there is no separate link for admit card yet. However, candidates can try to login at the city intimation login and check if their admit card is available. The flash notice indicates that link to download admit card of RRB JE 2019 second stage computer based test can be availed from today’s date. Also that the update has been put up on August 23.

RRB JE CBT 2 Admit Card 2019 Dates
RRB JE CBT 2 Admit Card download dates were made available with the CBT 2 notification published just after result of CBT 1. Those who have their exam on August 28, can download the RRB JE admit card for second stage CBT from August 24. Then candidates with exam on August 29 can download it from August 25. Likewise candidates who have been assigned August 30 as exam date can download call letter from August 26. Thereafter August 31 exam date candidates can get it from August 27. Finally those who have their exam on the last date that is September 1 will be able to download the admit card from August 28.
About RRB JE CBT 2 Admit Card
Each one of the 2,02,616 candidates who were declared as qualified for the second stage computer based test on the basis of first stage computer based test, are issued the admit card aka call letter for exam. The call letter contains various important details related to exam, and is also compulsory to enter the exam hall. Instead of post or any other means, RRBs release admit card in online mode.
Before releasing RRB JE admit card, RRBs already released the exam date, city intimation, and free travel authority. Through it, candidates got to know their exam date and city even before admit card is released. That was important because one has to make travel arrangements considering the exam date and city only. Anyone who has got a city that is not the city they are staying in, will have to book tickets for travel also. The exam date, city, and free travel authority was issued between August 18 and August 23. Whereas the city intimation process informed candidates about the city in which their exam center would fall, the admit card would tell the exact center.
About RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2019 (CEN 03/2018)
Railway Recruitment Board, Ministry of Railways, published an advertisement for recruitment of JE in December last year. In response to the advertisement, a total of 32,05,098 candidates had applied. Thereafter in the exams scheduled from May 22 to June 26, and then June 28, a total of 24,74,394 candidates appeared.
The board release official answer key on July 11, and accepted objections unto it until July 14. The final answer key was available from July 25 to 27. Soon after that, on August 13, RRB JE result was announced for all the RRBs. A total of 2,02,616 candidates were qualified for the second stage which is now going to be held. The recruitment process involves first stage CBT, second stage CBT, and document verification.
About RRB JE CBT 2
The second stage computer based test will be of 2 hours duration; although PWBD candidates will get 2 hours and 40 minutes with a scribe. This paper will have 150 questions of multiple choice type. There will be five sections in the paper. there will be general awareness with 15 questions fo 15 marks, physics and chemistry also with 15 questions of 15 marks. Then there will be basics of computers and applications with 10 questions of 10 marks, and basics of environment and pollution control with 10 questions of 10 marks. The last section will be technical abilities with 100 questions of 100 marks.
Syllabus of RRB JE CBT 2
General awareness comprises of the syllabus of culture and history of india including freedom struggle, environmental issues concerning india and the world, general scientific and technological developments, indian economy, indian geography, indian polity and constitution, knowledge of current affairs, sports. Whereas physics and chemistry syllabus is same as the CBSE syllabus of the subjects upto class 10.
Basics of computer and applications will have questions on architecture of computers, computer virus, input and output devices, internet and email, ms office, networking, operating system like windows / unix / linux, storage devices, various data representation, websites and web browsers.
Basics of environment and pollution control will be on air water and noise pollution with their effects and control, acid rain, adverse effect of environmental pollution and control strategies, basics of environment, global warming, ozone depletion, waste management.
Technical abilities asked in the paper will be based on the syllabus specific to exam group of candidates. RRB JE 2019 notification PDF shows groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G division in the annexure VII-A.
