The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Western Railway (WR) has updated on their official website that RRB Group D Document Verification Process is expected to start from April 12, 2019. Till now, it has been released only on the official website of Western Railway, http://www.rrc-wr.com. The RRC WR PET exam was held from 25 to 27 March 2019.
The RRB Group D Document Verification is conducted to check the eligibility claims of the candidate. For the DV round, students must make sure that bring all the necessary certificates on the specified day. Candidates are required to carry original as well as two sets of self-attested photocopies of the documents. In case, a candidate fails to do carry the certificates in the prescribed format then, he or she will not be eligible for the final appointment.
The documents can be produced only in Hindi or English. If the document is in some other language then one must present the self-attested translated version of the same on the day of document verification. Failure of the submission of the documents can lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
Candidates qualifying the Document Verification will be required to pass the medical test at the Railway Hospitals. The medical fitness test is conducted to check that the candidate is fit to carry out the duties associated with the post or not. For each post, the medical standards vary from “A2” to “C1”. Candidates clearing all the stages successfully will be recruited on the pay scale of 7th CPC pay matrix and get Rs. 18000, plus allowances monthly.
Based on the performance of the candidate in CBT, PET which is qualifying in nature candidates is called for the Document Verification. In The Document Verification, there is a tie-resolving criterion if in case 2 or more candidates secure equal marks. The tie is resolved on the basis of date of birth. Candidates of older age are preferred over the younger one.
This time the Group D Recruitment 2019 is released by the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) for a total number of 103769 vacancies. Out of which, 42355 vacancies are for Unreserved (UR), 15559 for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7984 for ST (ST), 27378 for Other Backward Class (OBC), and 10381 Economically Weaker Sections(EWS). For Ex-servicemen (EX-SM) it is 20734 and 4326 for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Candidates can apply for the RRC Group D 2019 until April 12, 2019. The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of CBT, PET and Document Verification.
