RRB Group D 2018 Exam Date and Shift to be announced on 9 September

Candidates who have successfully applied for the RRB Group D 2018 exam will get to know their exam date and shift on September 09, 2018. The exam date and shift will also be mentioned on the RRB Group D 2018 Hall Ticket/E-call Letter. Students must reach the exam center on the date and shift as will be provided to them on the official websites of the RRBs and their admit cards.

Through an official notice on the Computer Based Test (CBT) dated September 06, 2018 RRB gave out the schedule for the events of the RRB Group D 2018 exam. The students have been familiarized with the schedule that includes dates for the commence of CBT, Activation of Mock Test link for the CBT and the intimation of exam city, day and shift. Along with that, the students also have the dates from when the train travel pass will be available for the SC/ST candidates and when the E-Call letter release date.

Candidates will be informed about their exam date and shift on September 09, 2018. Other than that, CBT date has been set for September 17, 2018. For the student’s practice, they can appear for the mock test through the mock test link that will be activated on the official website on September 10, 2018. The Schedule Cast and Schedule Tribe candidates will be able to get the travel pass on September 10, 2018, as well. The E-Call letter that also has the exam date and the shift for the RRB Group D 2018 will be available to the students 4 dates before the date of the Computer-based test date.

A candidate login will be opened on the specified date. The link to access the candidate login will be available on the official website. This link will take the students to the news portal maintained by the RRB. Here, the students will enter the User ID and the Password to log in. After submitting these details, the Exam Date, Session, and Centre will be shown to the students. Candidates can take a print of the page for their reference.

The CBT will be conducted for a time duration of 90 Mins whereas it will be extended by 30 Mins for the PWD candidates accompanied by a scribe. Students will answer 100 Multiple choice questions and for every wrong answer, students will lose 1/3 marks.

Through the official RRB websites, RRB Group D 2018 E-Call Letter will be given to the students. The Exam center details, Exam Date, Time, Candidates details etc will be there on the E-Call Letter. However, it is being informed over and over again that along with the E-Call Letter, one document for identification will also be asked for on the exam day. Students can take along their Aadhaar card, Passport, Voter Id card, College Id card, Employee Id card, Pan card or any other valid document. It is also informed specifically in the notice that only the original copies of the chosen Identification document will be accepted. No Photocopies of same will be considered as valid on the exam day.
