Rashtriya Madhyamaik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) is conducting Assam High School TET Exam soon. For this, online application process have started today. Eligible candidates can submit Assam High School TET online application online at ssa.assam.gov.in. Interested aspirants can submit their applications on or before the last date which is November 30, 2020.
Before candidates start registering, it is advised to read the Assam High School TET eligibility criteria. It is important to note that only permanent residents of Assam state of eligible for Assam High School TET. They must have a post-graduation degree with 50% marks and B. Ed from NCTE recognized university. While applying, candidates also have to ensure that they are within the age limit as specified. Candidate’s age should not be less than that of 21 years.
To register online, first, a candidate needs to browse ssa.assam.gov.in. They can locate the ‘HS TET Advertisement’ under the latest section. Thereafter, tap on the ‘click here to apply online’ to apply for Assam High School TET exam. Before the final submission, aspirants must check the details that they have entered. Now, an application number and password is sent to registered candidates. Using these details, log in and proceed to pay the application fee. Once done, take a print out of the submitted application form for future records.
Apart from the application procedure, aspirants should be aware of the application fee for Assam High School TET. All the general category candidates are liable to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee. Those who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC and PWD category have to pay an application fee amounting to Rs. 300/-. Also, the Assam High School TET application fee can only be paid online. Fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstances. Aspirants can pay the application before December 03, 2020.
Moreover, the examination for Assam High School TET is scheduled for January 10, 2021. The exam is conducted as computer based test. It consists of two papers – Paper 1 Pedagogy, General English, Basic Numeral, Assam & its people ad Paper 2 is optional. Each paper is conducted for 02 hours. Aspirants have to attempt 200 MCQ questions with 200 marks. Those who are preparing for the exam can download Assam High School TET syllabus from the website only.
To qualify the exam, aspirants have to secure minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC/ PWD). Once the result is out, aspirants are awarded Assam High School TET certificate. Using this certificate, aspirants can apply for various teaching posts across the state Assam.
