District Education Board, Bikaner, Rajasthan, is going to release the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021 admit cards latest by September 10, 2021, as per reports. A recent news coverage by Zee News India conveys these dates, however, authorities are yet to confirm or reject this speculation. REET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on September 26, 2021, at various centres across the country.
The board officials have instructed exam centres to not conduct any other exam on the same day as REET 2021. As this important state-level exam is scheduled in 3 weeks, the reported admit card release date seems likely.
While the REET 2021 admit card release date is not confirmed, one thing is certain – hall tickets will be released on the official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. hence, candidates who are appearing for the eligibility test are advised to visit the official website consistently for latest updates. They may also rely on credible portals. And with just few days left for the exam to commence, last minute preparation is critical.
Of course, candidates have to bear in mind that REET 2021 admit cads will only be issued to those who have successfully registered for the eligibility test. This document will act as a ticket for candidates to attend the exam. Moreover, it will also specify the exam venue as well as exam reporting time. Hence, candidates are expected to abide by these timings on the day of the eligibility exam.
Will REET 2021 be postponed again?
Previously, REET 2021 was scheduled to be conducted on June 20, 2021. However, due to a sudden spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the exam was rescheduled to September 26, 2021. Candidates are hoping that the exam does not get further postponed. Nevertheless, officials from the organizing body will have a meeting today, September 03, 2021, to discuss the aspects of conducting the exam. If at all the exam has to be postponed, that decision will come today.
As per reports, the meeting will address all points pertaining to the precautionary measures planned for the REET 2021 examination. At this meeting, the State Education Minister Govind Singh Dostara will also be present to take a look at the safety measures in store for the exam. Previously, Dostara had assured that students that the eligibility test will be held once the COVID-19 pandemic stabilises. This statement has now come true as authorities are all set to conduct the REET 2021 exam in the last week of September 2021.
According to reports, approximately 16 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the eligibility test. This year, the exam is being held to fill a total of 31,000 Grade 3 teacher posts in the Rajasthan government. REET 2021 is being conducted this year, after a span of almost 4 years. Previously, it was held in 2017 due to such a difference of 4 years, the competition is likely to be tough.
