The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published a notification in which it has been notified that a reschedule exam will be conducted for those candidates who could not appear for the Group D Computer-based test due to Rail Roko in South Eastern Railway on September 24, 2018. In the notification, it has been specified who are eligible to appear for the re-scheduling and who are not.
Who Are Considered for the Rescheduling?
As per the notification published, the candidates who submitted their application and details such as name, registration number, date of birth), a copy of the Group D 2018 Admit Card, copy of the railway ticket (if available) in RRB/Kolkata’s email address – [email protected] till October 14, 2018, are being considered for rescheduling.
Next, those candidates who resides in West Bengal and had exam at Bhubaneswar and Jamshedpur on September 25, 2018 for all the three shifts and who could not attend exam and have submitted copy of either copy of Group D E-call letter or railway ticket or address proof and copy of Admit Card or railway ticket as well as address proof have been considered for rescheduling.
Candidates residing in West Bengal who had the exam at Bhubaneswar on September 24, 2018, for 3rd shift only and who could not attend the exam and have submitted the necessary documents required for the verification of records are also considered for the rescheduling.
Those candidates who had the exam at Balasore and Jamshedpur on September 24, 2019 for all three shifts and have submitted the copy of either e-call letter or railway ticket or address proof (for RRB/Kolkata candidates) and copy of e-call letter or railway ticket as well as address proof (for other than RRB/Kolkata candidates) are eligible for the rescheduling.
Those aspirants who reside in the district of Midnapore (East & West), Bankura, Purulia & Howrah of West Bengal and had their exam at other districts of West Bengal (including Bankura) on September 24, 2018, for all three shifts. Such candidates if have submitted all the necessary documents and details required for the verification of records before the last date are considered for rescheduling.
Candidates who had the exam at Bankura on September 24, 2018, but could not appear for it due to Rail Roko and having a residential address in the district other than Bankura have been considered for rescheduling after due verification of their residential address (for RRB/Kolkata candidate) as per the candidate’s database. Such candidates had to submit a copy of either e-call letter or railway ticket or address proof(for RRB/Kolkata candidates) and a copy of the RRB Group D 2018 Admit Card or railway ticket as well as address proof (for other than RRB/Kolkata candidates).
Who has not been considered for Rescheduling?
Those candidates who had their examination on September 24 and 25, 2018 but could not attend the exam and have both exam centers and residences in the districts other than Midnapore(East&West), Bankura, Purulia, and Howrah have not been considered for rescheduling.
Other than such candidates, those did not submit a copy of the RRB Group D Admit Card but submitted only a copy of free travel authority has not been considered for rescheduling.
Candidates who are considered for the rescheduling will be allowed to appear for the Computer-based test after October 16, 2018.
