Public Health Department, Maharashtra has announced the recruitment process for Medical Officer on contractual basis for Solapur District. The detailed notification in this regard is published recently on the official website, zpsolapur.gov.in. The conducting body has announced 42 Vacancies for the said recruitment. Aspirants who are shortlisted as BAMS Contractual Medical Officer receives a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000/- and MBBS Contractual Medical Officer gets Rs. 55,000/-.
To recruit eligible candidates for the announced post, the conducting body has specified the eligibility norms. Candidate’s upper age should not exceed that of 58 years as on July 31, 2020. To apply for the said post of Medical Officer, candidates who possess MBBS or BAMS degree are eligible. Aspirants must have registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council/ Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine/ Indian Medical Council.
Candidates have to submit their application form for the said post through online process. They have to download the application form through zpsolapur.gov.in. The filled in application form along with all the documents and DD should be submitted in PDF form to the prescribed email address. The fee should be submitted through demand draft drawn from a nationalized bank and the same should’ve attached with the application form. General category candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee. Those who belong to Backward Class category have to pay Rs. 300/- as the application fee. Aspirants have to ensure that they submit all the marks sheets and certificates of their educational qualification with the application form.
Along with the application form, candidates also have to submit certain documents with it. They must submit degree of all years indicating the maks secured by candiates, pass certificate, Maharashtra Medical Council/ Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine/ Indian Medical Council registration certificate, certificate of work done in a government health institution, caste certificate, caste verification certificate, demand draft and identity proof such as aadhar card, PAN card, etc. All these documents and mark sheets should reach the conducting body through email and in PDF format only.
Based on the certificates and documents, the conducting body evaluates the marks for the selection. After scrutinizing the applications, a merit list is prepared. Candidates are invited for the verification for which they have to carry original documents in support of their educational qualification. Shortlisted aspirants have to sign a bond of Rs. 100/- with the conducting body for the service. Candidates who are appointed as Medical Officers are required to stay at the headquarters.
