After postponing the scheduled exam dates of the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2020, the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has announced new exam dates of the 2020 HP TET exam. HP Board of Secondary Education has published an official press notice in this regard at the official website i.e. hpbose.org. As per the new schedule, the examination is now scheduled to be conducted from August 25, 2020 to August 28, 2020. There are 08 papers of the HP TET exam, all of which were postponed earlier by the Board. However, now with the release of the new schedule, the Board is going to conduct the exams for all the papers during the aforementioned dates. Admit cards for appearing in the exam are scheduled to be made available 04 days before the exam at the aforementioned official website of the HP Board of Secondary Education.
The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 was initially scheduled to be conducted on July 26, August 02, August 08 and August 09, 2020 in two consecutive shifts. There are 08 papers for which the exam is being conducted viz. Shastri TET, JBT TET, TGT (Non-Medical) TET, Language Teacher TET, TGT (Arts) TET, TGT (Medical) TET, Punjabi TET, and Urdu TET. All of these exams were earlier scheduled to be conducted on the aforementioned dates in July and August 2020. However, the HP Board of Secondary Education postponed the scheduled dates in July 2020 just as the exams were about to begin. At that time, the Board also announced that fresh dates to conduct the exams would be announced soon. In continuation of the indications made by the HP Board of Secondary Education to conduct the exam on newly scheduled dates, the Board has now released the complete schedule to conduct the exam in August 2020.
On each exam day, the exams of two papers would be conducted in the two consecutive shifts. The first shift starts at 10.00 AM and ends on 12.30 PM while the second shift starts on 02.00 PM and ends on 04.30 PM. As per the schedule, the exam for JBT TET is to be conducted at the first shift on August 25, 2020 while the exam for Shastri TET is to be conducted at the second shift on August 25, 2020. The exam for TGT (Non-Medical) TET is to be conducted on August 26, 2020 at the first shift while the exam for Language Teacher TET is to be conducted at the second shift on August 26, 2020. On August 27, 2020, the exam for TGT (Arts) TET is to be conducted at the first shift while the exam for TGT (Medical) TET is to be conducted at the second shift. The exam for the paper of Punjabi TET is to be conducted at the first shift on August 28, 2020 while the examination for the Urdu TET is to be conducted at the second shift on August 28, 2020.
Eligible candidates are to be issued the admit cards for appearing in the HP TET 2020 exam 04 days before the exam commences. The admit cards are to be published on the official website and concerned candidates must download it at their own interest before the exam. Candidates have to login using their Application Number and Date of Birth to login and download the admit card. It is mandatory to produce the admit card before entering into the exam hall.
