After the recent release of the reincarnated version of the previously banned PUBG Mobile, South Korean gaming tech company Krafton is all set to launch PUBG New Stage. As per reports, the new iteration from Krafton was already launched globally earlier in February 2021. Now, Krafton has activated the PUBG New State pre-registration link for both Android and iOS users in India.
Since Krafton took over PUBG Mobile’s publishing and distribution rights after it was banned in September 2020 following issues over national security. The banned game was re-launched as Battle Grounds Mobile India recently in July 2021 by Krafton and within a very short time, the mobile video game has enjoyed immense success. As per reports, that game application has been downloaded over 50 million times from Android Playstore. Initially, it was launched for Android users only, but Krafton recently released the iOS version of Battle Grounds Mobile India as well.
After BGMI’s immense popularity, Krafton has now decided to bring PUBG New State to India and unlike BGMI, PUBG New State pre-registrations have been activated for both Android and iOS users. Besides there are rewards associated with pre-registrations and this time, those who pre-register will get a permanent limited edition vehicle skin. Android users must hurry up and pre-register now on Google Play Store while iOS users can do so from App Store.
As per reports PUBG New State has been set in a futuristic context in the year 2051 although the gameplay is themed similar to Battle Grounds Mobile India. There is however inclusion of advanced weapons and vehicles of the future that comes with a promise of taking the overall gameplay to the next level. Since PUBG New State was announced globally in February this year, it has been downloaded more than 32 million times, Krafton says.
Krafton is confident that PUBG New State will offer a free to play experience to all gaming enthusiasts in India. While primarily designed to be played on mobile devices, there is a community of players who use emulators to play the game on PC for a better viewing experience and control. PUBG Executive Producer, Minkyu Park is of the view that Indian gaming enthusiasts are highly interested in the launch of the new version of PUBG. He was quoted saying that PUBG Studios is doing their best to offer a Battle Royal experience in PUBG New State.
