Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the registration and examination dates for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2022. The official schedule has been uploaded on the portal uceed.iitb.ac.in for aspirants’ reference. According to the schedule, UCEED 2022 is scheduled to take place on January 23, 2022, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Registration for the same shall begin on September 09, 2021 through the official website. Without any late fee charges, candidates have time up till October 10, 2021, to complete the registration formalities. UCEED is a national-level entrance exam conducted for candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate courses in the field of design.
IIT Bombay has provided a detailed schedule for the UCEED 2022 examination right from the registration timeline to the date for result declaration. The registration process shall take place from September 09 to October 10, 2021, without any late fee charges. Beyond this timeline, candidates can still register for the entrance exam till October 17, 2021. However, they will have to bear the late fee charges in addition to paying the application fee.
As per the schedule, IIT Bombay is expected to release the UCEED 2022 admit cards from January 08, 2022. In case of any discrepancies or corrections, aspirants must get them checked and rectified latest by January 14, 2022, up to 5:00 pm.
After the conduction of the UCEED 2022 examination on January 23, 2022, authorities will release the provisional answer key on January 25, 2022. Candidates will be given the opportunity to raise objections against this answer key on or before January 27, 2022, 5:00 pm. The facility to raise objections or provide comments on the answer key will be made available on the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in.
Authorities will take into consideration all the objections raised by students and will make appropriate changes in the provisional answer key. The UCEED 2022 final answer key will release soon after on January 31, 2022. Candidates will not get any opportunity to raise issues against the final draft.
IIT Bombay will evaluate candidates based on this answer key and is expected to announce the results on March 10, 2022. Before this, authorities will also announce the cut-off marks for Part-A section on February 10, 2022. This will help candidates determine their chances of getting into a good and reputed B.Des college.
While the result declaration is slated for March 10, 2022, aspirants can only download the results from March 14, 2022, onwards. The last date to download the UCEED 2022 scorecards is June 14, 2022.
Authorities have also released the admission schedule for candidates who qualify the UCEED 2022 examination. Accordingly, candidates can submit the online applications for B.Des. programme from March 14 to 31, 2022. Subsequently, the first round of seat allotment will be announced on April 10, 2022 whereas the results of second round will be released on May 10, 2022. Results for the third round of seat allotment are likely to come out by June 10, 2022. However, these dates are tentative and may be subjected to changes, if required.
