The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the official notification regarding the PSTET 2021 exam date. According to the notification, the Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test 2021 is scheduled to commence on December 24, 2021. The candidates who want to apply for PSTET I and PSTET II can apply from the official website, pseb.ac.in.

The application form filling window for the PSTET 2021 will be made available soon by the conducting body on their portal. Accordingly, once the process of filling the application form is over, the candidates will be provided a correction window so that the mistakes made in the application form can be rectified. In addition to that, the admit card for the PSTET 2021 will be released at least a week before the examination.
The eligibility criteria for the PSTET states that the candidates should score at least 50% marks in the 12th standard along with a 4-year elementary education training. Also, the candidates who have done their graduation and subsequently completed B.Ed can apply for the examination. There is no upper age limit for the candidates applying for the examination.
PSTET is a state-level examination conducted for granting eligibility to candidates seeking professions as primary and upper primary teachers in the state-owned schools of Punjab. The exam is conducted for two categories: Primary Teachers (classes I to V) and Upper Primary Teachers (classes VI to VIII). Candidates interested to apply in both the level I and level II examination can fill the application form accordingly. These candidates will have to appear for both the examination separately. The question paper will be in the MCQ format and is going to be bilingual (Hindi and English). The candidates qualifying for the PSTET written examination are allowed to appear for the final document verification after which they are provided the TET certificate which now remains valid for lifetime.
