Board of Secondary Education, Odisha is expected to release the OSSTET 2022 answer key soon. OSSTET 2022 exam was conducted on February 09, 2022, in multiple shifts. As of now, there is no specified date regarding the examination however leading media houses have suggested that the answer key can be released either today or the following week. Candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official website, bseodisha.nic.in.
OSSTET 2022 answer key is released by the board to help the candidates with marks calculations. Other than this, it also helps in knowing the overall performance level of the candidate in the exam. The unofficial answer keys for the exam were released soon after the exam was held however the official ones are awaited.
OSSTET 2022 Answer Key Release Date
The board has not released any specific date as to when the answer key shall be released. However, based on past year dates, we can data, we can see that there is a gap of 16 days between the exam day and answer key release. Like, the exam was held on September 01, 2021, and the answer key was released on September 17, 2021. Similarly, for this year the exam was held on February 09, 2022, and hence the expected date for the release of the OSSTET answer key is February 24 or 25, 2022.
After the answer key is released, the candidate shall be provided with the option of raising objections on the answer that are found to be wrong in the provisional answer key of OSSTET. Based on last year’s notice, it can be speculated that the board charges INR 500 for each objection raised.
OSSTET 2022 Marking Scheme
One of the crucial purposes of releasing the OSSTET answer key is marks calculation. For making that process easier, the candidates can use the marking scheme prescribed by the board. As per which, 1 mark is added for each correct answer and no negative marking is prescribed for those answers that are marked wrongly by BSE, Odisha. Candidates can use this marking scheme to calculate the marks scored in the Odisha TET exam.

The minimum qualifying marks to clear the OSSTET exam from the unreserved category is 60% of the total marks while the same is 50% for the reserved category candidates. Those who find a place on the merit list are awarded the OSSTET certificate that comes with validity equivalent to years prescribed to the upper age for their category.
