Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSEO) has released the 2nd phase application form for the OSSTET 2021 examination. Starting today, November 12, 2021, candidates can apply for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021 examination. The form has been released on bseodisha.ac.in, the official portal of BSEO. The registration process shall continue till midnight of November 20, 2021. Additionally, BSEO has also released the syllabus, registration guidelines, and instructions to conduct the eligibility test.
To apply for the OSSTET 2021 examination, candidates must log in to the official website, if they have already registered before. In case they haven’t, candidates must first register on the portal by entering details such as name, password, category, mobile number, and email ID. On submitting these credentials, candidates must log in to the portal to access the application form.

The OSSTET 2021 application form comprises four sections – 1. Personal Information, 2. Eligibility Criteria, 3. Educational Qualification and 4. Declaration. After filling all four sections, candidates need to upload their education certificates and other documents in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format. Lastly, they must pay the application fee as per their category.
As mentioned in the official instructional manual, general and SEBC category candidates need to pay Rs.500 while SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs.300 as an application fee. It is important to note that this fee is non-refundable and any requests for a refund will not be entertained.
On completing all the OSSTET 2021 registration steps, candidates need to click on the declaration box to submit their application. Moreover, they will also have to click on the “YES – FINAL SUBMIT” option to confirm their submission. By doing so, a confirmation receipt will appear on the screen. Aspirants need to download or take a printout of this receipt as a record of successful registration.
The OSSTET 2021 examination will be testing a candidate’s understanding and knowledge base in terms of Odia, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Social Studies, etc. Of course, the subjects will depend on a candidate’s individual preference and expertise. To support them in their preparation, BSEO has released a detailed syllabus for each subject.
The OSSTET 2021 syllabus has been uploaded on the official website bseodisha.ac.in. Candidates can either access the official portal or the link below to check the syllabus. They are advised to follow the list of topics given so that their preparation remains in tandem with the topics expected in the exam.
