Over 4000 Vacancies Announced for ONGC Apprentice Recruitment, Submit Online Applications Before August 17

ONGC invites Bachelor's/ITI/Diploma pass candidates for apprentice posts at 21 work centres across India.

ONGC is inviting online applications to recruit eligible candidates as Apprentices across 21 work centres. Total 4182 vacancies are announced for Northern, Westen, Eastern, Mumbai, Central and Southern Sectors. The detailed notification with Advt. No: ONGC/APPR/1/2020/ is available on ongcindia.com. Those who possess a Bachelor’s/ ITI/ Diploma in particular trades are eligible to apply online. The online portal to submit applications from starts from July 29, 2020, from 11:00 AM onwards. Candidates can submit their applications against any sector before August 17, 2020, by 06:00 PM.

The posts of Apprentice is announced under the following trades, Accountant, Assistant Human Resource, Secretarial Assistant (ITI), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Mechanic Diesel, Computer science, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanical, Draughtsman, Instrument Mechanic, Electrician, Surveyor, Welder, Laboratory Assistant, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Machinist, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumber, Library Assistant, Electronics & Telecommunication and Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance.

To apply for an Accountant and Assistant Human Resource, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in concerned field. Candidates who wish to apply for Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electronics and Mechanical trade must have Diploma in respective disciplines. For the rest of the trades, candidates must have ITI in respective disciplines from recognized institutes/ universities. Candidates have to ensure that they have completed the minimum age limit of 18 years as on August 17, 2020. They must not exceed the upper age limit of 24 years.

Eligible candidates have to register themselves first at apprenticeshipindia.org/ and portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/commonRedirect/registermenunew!registermenunew.action. After successful registration, candidates are provided with the registration number and password which they must keep safe. They have to use this registration number to log in and fill up the ONGC application form. While submitting the application form, candidates have to upload a scanned image of photograph, signature. The selection of candidates is done through the document verification round. They have to produce original documents for the verification prior to the joining date. The list of documents that candidates have to carry will be intimated later on. The Joining date at specific work centres will be decided depending on the COVID-19 situation. Candidates can check the final result from August 24, 2020, onwards on the website. The selected candidates have to undergo apprenticeship training with ONGC. The training goes on for 12 months in different operational centres. However, candidates appointed as Library Assistant have to undergo a 06 months training period.
