Institute of Chartered Accountant of India has published a notification to recruit candidates as Project Officer, Assistant Project Officer, Content Editor, Assistant Secretary and Deputy Secretary. ICAI has announced a total of 14 vacancies for Project Officer, 06 for Assistant Project Officer. However, the conducting body has not specified the vacancies for Content Editor, Assistant Secretary and Deputy Secretary. Eligible and interested candidates submit their form within 15 days from the released of the advertisement.
Candidates who are selected as Deputy Secretary gets Rs.16 lakhs (approx) per annum, Assistant Sectary receives Rs. 14 lakhs (approx) per annum, Content Editor gets Rs. 07-09 lakhs per annum. Those who are appointed as Project Officer gets Rs. 3.25 lakhs per month and Assistant Project Officers receives Rs. 2.00 lakhs per month.
To apply for the Deputy Secretary post, candidates must have CA/Post Graduate degree in Mass Communication /Journalism. Those who wish to apply for Content Editor post must possess a Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism/Psychology. Candidates who are applying for Assistant Secretary must have a post-graduation degree in Mass Communication/Journalism. To apply for Project Officer and Assistant Project Officer, Chartered Account qualification is required.
Besides, candidates must have a minimum of 18 years of work experience for Project Officer, 10 years of work experience for Assistant Project Officer. To apply for Content Editor, they must have 05 years of work experience in copy editing, proofreading and writing. Candidates who have 07 years of post-qualification work experience are eligible for the post of Assistant Secretary. Those who have a minimum of 12 years of work experience with Media/Publishing are eligible for Deputy secretary.
Along with the educational qualification, aspirants must comply with the age limit as specified. For Content Editor, the maximum age limit of 35 years, for assistant Secretary it is 40 years and for Deputy Secretary, the upper age limit is 45 years.

If candidates are submitting their forms through the post, it must reach to the Assistant Secretary-HR, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, I.P. Marg, New Delhi, 110 002. The envelope in which candidates are sending their applications should be superscribed with ‘Application for the post of _____’.
ICAI conducts interview round for the selection of the said posts. The criteria for selection is determined by the eligibility norms. Those who suffice the prescribed eligibility are shortlisted for the interview round. Selection of eligible candidates is for 03 years only. However, their service period may get extended as per ICAI requirement.
