Sagarmala Development Company Limited is inviting applications for recruitment into various Consultant posts. The CPSE company under the governance of the Ministry of Shipping and advertised multiple vacancies for the post of Consultant in different disciplines. The vacancies are advertised through an official recruitment notification published on the website of the company i.e. sdclindia.com. Applications for recruitment to the posts can be forwarded to relevant authorities till September 10, 2020. However, the last date of receipt of applications for recruitment to the post of Consultant (HR) is August 14, 2020.
As per the official recruitment notice, one opening each is available for the posts of Consultant (Traffic), Consultant (Marketing), Consultant (Finance & Accounts) and Consultant (HR). After successful selection, eligible candidates are to be appointed for an initial period of 01 year only on a contractual basis. However, the period of contract is extendable to a total of 03 years depending on the performance of the candidate and approval from competent authority.
Candidates must first ensure that they meet the specified eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment. In order to apply for the post of Consultant (Traffic), candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline and 15 years of minimum experience in the field of handling & transportation management of cargo through Road/Railways/Shipping/Multimodal Logistics. Candidates having a professional degree/diploma/certificate in Multimodal Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Transportation Management are preferred for this post. The maximum age limit for the post is 50 years and candidates are paid up to Rs 2.5 lacs per month.
Candidates having an MBA/PGDBM in any specialization are eligible to apply for the post of Consultant Marketing given that they have sufficient experience in Multimodal Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Transportation Management. Candidates must have 15 years of experience in the field of marketing & sales in the logistics company in the area of cargo handling through Road, Rail, Shipping, and Multimodal Logistics. The maximum age of the applicants must not be more than 50 years and candidates are paid up to Rs 2.5 lacs per month as remuneration. Graduate degree holders with a membership of ICAI/MBA (Finance) are eligible to apply for the post of Consultant (Finance & Accounts). Such applicants must have 10 years of experience in relevant areas. The maximum permissible age is 50 years. Candidates are entitled to receive Rs 2.00 lacs per month as remuneration.
For the post of Consultant (HR) candidates must have an MBA/PGDBM in Human Resource with a minimum of years experience in the field of Human Resource Management. Candidates having knowledge of DPE guidelines are preferred for this post. The maximum age of the applicants cannot be more than 45 years for this post while they are entitled to receive Rs 1.00 lacs monthly payment. The place of posting for all posts is in New Delhi, India.
Applications in the prescribed proforma must reach the Company Secretary, 1st Floor Thapar House, Gate No. 2, 124 Janpath, New Delhi – 110001 on or before the last date of receipt of applications. Appointed candidates have to provide a notice at least three months before if they wish to discontinue the employment.
