Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the official notification 2021-22 to fill up vacancies under various Non-Teaching posts (HQ/RO cadre & JNV cadre). The recruitment drive aims at filing a total of 1915 vacancies under posts like Assistant Commissioner, Junior Engineer, Stenographer, Multi Tasking Staff, etc. The detailed notification has been released on the official website navodaya.gov.in. At the same time, NVS has already begun the registration process for candidates who wish to apply for this recruitment process.
As per the official NVS 2021-22 recruitment notification, the registration process is scheduled from January 12 to February 10, 2022. Candidates are also expected to pay the application fee within this period. The recruitment exam is planned on being conducted through the computer-based format, from March 09 to 11, 2022. These dates, however, are only tentative and may be subjected to changes depending on the prevailing circumstances.
Exam Details
The NVS 2021-22 selection process is different for each post. To begin with, for the post of Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Admn), and Junior Engineer (Civil), the selection process will comprise of a computer-based test and an interview round.
In the case of Female Staff Nurse, Audit Assistant, Assistant, Section Officer, Junior Translation Officer, Computer Operator, Catering Assistant, Lab Attendant, and Multi Tasking Staff, the recruitment process will be conducted only through computer-based tests. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their performance in the online exam.
With respect to vacancies under Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant (HQ/RO Cadre), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JNV Cadre), Electrician cum Plumber, and Mess Helper, candidates need to clear the online written exam. Thereafter, shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a trade or skill test which will only have a qualifying nature. This test will not have any effect on the candidate’s final score. However, it is important to pass this skill test to be considered for the final selection process.
Application Fee Details
To apply for the NVS 2021-22 recruitment drive, candidates need to pay a certain amount as an application fee. This fee amount again depends on the post for which a candidate is registering. So, in the case of posts like Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Admn.), the fee amount is Rs.1500. Whereas for the post of Female Staff Nurse, candidates need to pay Rs.1200.
Candidates applying for vacancies under Assistant Section Officer, Audit Assistant, Junior Engineer (Civil), Stenographer, Junior Translation Officer, Computer Operator, Catering, Assistant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (HQ/RO Cadre), Assistant (JNV Cadre), Electrician cum Plumber and Junior Secretariat need to pay Rs. 1000 as fee amount. Finally, to apply for the post of Lab Attendant, Mess Helper, and Multi Tasking Staff, candidates are expected to pay Rs. 750 as application fee.
