National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened NEET 2020 form correction facility on ntaneet.nic.in. The unexpected move has been made by NTA because due to the pandemic candidates were not able to correct the details earlier. NEET form correction facility is open until September 30, 2020, till 5 PM. Not all fields in the application form are available for edit. 7 fields, namely mother’s name, father’s name, gender, category, PwD status, state code of eligibility, and nationality can be corrected.
If changes are needed in these fields, candidates who appeared for NEET 2020 on September 13, 2020, can do so under their respective logins. Application number and password are needed to access the NEET 2020 form correction link.
The application fee is applicable for changes in a few fields out of the 7 editable ones. If applicable, candidates will have to remit the fields using online payment options like Credit / Debit Card / Net banking / UPI and PAYTM. The online payments have to be made by 11.50 PM on September 30, 2020.
The reopening of the form correction facility even after the exam is done in view of the hardships faced by the aspirants. Many aspirants were unable to make corrections in their NEET 2020 form before the exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the National Testing Agency has once again started the facility of NEET 2020 form correction.
NTA has further notified, that all those candidates who mailed them regarding form correction, have to verify the corrections by themselves now. NTA may / may not have incorporated those requested changes in the form. Also, no more correction requests will be entertained by NTA through Fax / email / posts etc.

NEET 2020 has been held for around 15 lakh registered candidates. the official NEET answer key is awaited. Usually, NEET result is declared exactly 1 month after the exam. However, NTA is expected to take the pace up a notch and release the result sooner as the academic year has already been pushed back extensively.
The candidates qualifying NEET 2020 for 15% All India Quota counselling will have to take part in online centralised counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). This year onwards AIIMS and JIPMER admissions will be also based on NEET scores. Admission will be granted in UG medical courses like MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BSMS / BUMS / BHMS. For the state of Maharashtra admission will be also made in courses like Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B. PTh.), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B. OTh.), Bachelor of Audiology, Speech and Language Pathology (BASLP), Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (BP & O) and B.Sc. Nursing based on NEET 2020 scores.
