NTA Opens Correction Window for JNUEE, IGNOU Exam, AIAPGET, UGC NET and more

Exam centre change option is also given in form correction facility for all the exams.

NTA has released a notification announcing the opening of form correction facility for various NTA exams. These entrance exams include IGNOU MBA & Ph.D entrance exam, JNUEE 2020, AIAPGET 2020, AIEEA 2020, UGC NET 2020, and CSIR NET 2020.

The application form correction process is open from today i.e July 6 to July 15, 2020. The form correction facility can be accessed online on the respective websites of the exams.

For IGBOU MBA & Ph.D. entrance exam for correction, candidates have to visit ignouexams.nta.nic.in. JNUEE 2020 from correction can be done on jnuexams.nta.nic.in. The form correction facility of AIAPGET 2020 is available at ntaaiapget.nic.in. For AIEEA exams form correction is open at ntaaiapget.nic.in. The form correction for UGC NET 2020 can be done at ugcnet.nta.nic.in and CSIR NET at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Another important thing to note about the deadlines of the form corrections for all the exams is that the correction window will close at 5 pm on July 15, 2020. However, the correction fee, if applicable can be paid until 11:50 pm on July 15.

For all the exams for which NTA has opened the application form correction facility today, candidates will be allowed to change all fields of the form. This will also include changes in exam city preferences and choices, to help students who are in dilemma with the exam center due to COVID-19.

For most of the fields, the correction fee is not applicable. However, changes in fields like gender, category, or number paper choices, the extra fee can be applicable.

In case an additional fee is charged, then the candidates have to pay the charge in online mode only using modes like credit card / debit card / net banking / UPI / PAYTM.

The notice that NTA has issued today, also states that many candidates have uploaded images that are “illegible”. Such candidates have to correct their images as per the instructed specifications that are the passport-sized photo must be between 10 KB to 200 KB in size. Also, the photo must be taken on or after September 01, 2019. The photograph of the candidates must preferably have the name and date of the candidates.

NTA has once again instructed that the photo of the candidates must be without caps or goggles. In the photo, 80% of the face of the candidates must be visible and the ears must be visible. The photo must be taken in a white background. Polaroid or computer-generated photos are not acceptable.

Applications that are submitted without the photographs will be rejected.

Apart from that NTA has advised the candidates to keep the same copies of the upload photos with them. Students must also keep with them 4 to 6 postcard-sized photos (4″ X 6″). In case the candidate uploads someone else photo then they shall be liable to punishment as per the law of the nation.

Once the form correction is over, NTA will be uploading revised dates of admit card download for all these exams on the websites of the respective exams and also on nta.ac.in.
