NTA Opens Correction Window for UGC NET & CSIR-NET 2020, Check the Important Dates Here

Due to COVID-19, National Testing Agency has revised the dates for the application form correction and choice of centres

Acknowledging the difficulties of aspirants amidst COVID-19, National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to make some change in the application form correction dates. In its recent notification released at nta.ac.in, the agency has announced that aspirants can now edit their details and choice of centres from July 06, 2020, onwards. The revised schedule is applicable to UGC National Testing Agency June 2020, Joint CSIR NET Examination June 2020, IGNOU PhD and OPENMAT Entrance Examination 2020, ICAR AIEEA 2020, JNUEE 2020, AIAPGET 2020. Candidates can correct the particulars and choose of centres cities in application form up to July 15, 2020. Visit the official website of relevant examination to make this opportunity beneficial.

Earlier, candidates were allowed the make correction in the application forms up to June 15, 2020. However, due to Coronavirus, candidates faced a lot of hardships while editing their details and choice of centres. Considering COVID-19 impact and the difficulties due to Lockdown, NTA extended the application form correction dates up to June 30, 2020. As the situation has worsened more than before, the exam conducting body has decided to further extend the application form correction window to July 15, 2020.

NTA has mentioned that some candidates have uploaded photograph/signature which is illegible. Such candidates have to upload their photograph and signature in the specified specification to avoid any negative impact on their candidature. They have to make sure that the images that are uploaded are scanned, in JPEG/JPG format. The size photograph should not be less than 10 KB or more than 20 Kb. The photograph should be on or after September 01, 2019, with the name of the candidate and date photo was taken indicated at the bottom. The photograph need not be attested while uploading. Candidates are advised to keep at least 06 to 08 passport size photograph and 04 to 06 Postcard size colour photograph with white background with them.

In case, candidates make changes in the application form details which requires additional fee payment, they can pay the fee through online mode. Candidates have to opt for any one of the following gateways to pay the fee online. The fees can be paid using Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PayTM. The final changes are reflected in the NTA application forms only after the payment of the requisite application fees.

The revised date of downloading the admit cards, exam schedule displays on the official website accordingly. Candidates have to ensure that they visit the official website of the particular examination or NTA’s official website to get the latest updates for the exam.
