NTA NEET 2021 Correction Window

The application correction window for NEET 2021 was opened by the National Testing Agency (NTA) two days ago. Candidates who have already submitted their applications but want to make corrections in their application form can do so via neet.nta.nic.in till tomorrow, i.e. by 2 PM on August 14, 2021.

However, with the opening of the correction window, students now seem to be confused regarding which details they can change and which details they cannot.

Students have even posted their queries on social media sites as well as in the comment boxes of various You Tube videos. The most common question that has surfaced is whether students can change their categories or not. In addition to that, students are also concerned about whether they can change their permanent address and question paper mode.

The NTA correction window allows students to make corrections regarding these details. Not only that but candidates can also change their name, date of birth, parents’ name, exam centre and city choices among other important details. Moreover, even if the candidate has made any mistake while uploading the images, then they can rectify them via the correction window.

But, candidates must keep in mind that they cannot make changes in their nationality, email ID, phone number, ID type as well as ID number.

In case a candidate is not familiar with the process to make corrections using the NTA correction window, then they can follow the steps given below:

Step 1- Visit neet.nta.nic.in and scroll down the page to click on the link that reads ‘Correction Registration Form’.

Step 2- Provide the requisite login credentials like application number, password and security pin and then click on the ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 3- Now, click on ‘Correction in Application Form’ and select the checkbox to proceed towards correction.

Step 4- Candidates can now modify the details and click on the ‘Final submit’ button.

After making the final submission, candidates can make take a printout of the correction slip for future references. It is advised to cross-verify these details because no requests for changes will be entertained later on. Note that the corrections will only be accepted after the payment of the required fee. This additional fee will depend on the changes that the candidate makes. Once the NTA NEET 2021 correction window closes, the agency will release the admit cards on nta.ac.in as well as neet.nta.nic.in. In case of queries or clarifications, candidates can call via 011-40759000 or send their queries via email at [email protected]
