NTA IIFT MBA 2020 Registration Begins @ iift.nta.nic.in

MBA entrance exam for IIFT admission 2020-21 is being conducted by NTA for the first time.

NTA IIFT MBA 2020 Registration

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the online registration link for Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) admission test. The exam will be held at a national level to offer admission in MBA IB programme. The interested candidates will have to apply before October 25, 2019 at iift.nta.nic.in.

The new thing about the exam is that NTA is conducting IIFT 2020 entrance exam for the very first time. Moreover, NTA has established “Test Practice Centers (TPCs)” across India  to familiarize candidates with the Computer-based test.

Any graduate who have passed with a minimum of 50 % marks by (general), and 45 % marks by (SC / ST / PwD) are eligible to apply for the exam. There is no age limit for appearing in the examination. In order to qualify as a international candidate, he / she have to be a resident outside India for a period of not less than 18 months.

Candidates have to apply for IIFT MBA 2020 online application form by accessing the website, iift.nta.nic.in. Before filling up the online application form, it is suggested that the candidates should be ready with scanned documents of their passport size photograph (10 kb to 200 kb), signature (4 kb to 30 kb), certificates (50 kb to 300 kb), a valid email id , and phone number.

An application fee of Rs 2000 has to be submitted by (general / gen-EWS / OBC NCL), Rs 1000 by (SC / ST / PwD / transgender) and the fee for (foreign citizens / NRIs) is US $ 150 i.e Rs 9,500. Candidates has to select debit card / credit card / net banking / paytm to pay the application fee. The last date to submit the fees is October 26, 2019.

The examination is scheduled to be held on December 01, 2019. It will be a computer based test containing multiple choice questions covering english grammar, vocabulary and comprehension, general knowledge and current affairs, logical reasoning, data interpretation and quantitative analysis. The medium of the exam will be in english and will begin from 10:00 am to 12 noon.

After the exam, NTA will display the provisional answer keys along with the question paper. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer keys by remitting a processing fee of Rs 1000 per question. The objections will be then examined by the subject experts and a final answer key will be declared.

IIFT MBA (IB) aims at providing professional education and training in modern management techniques for handling international business operations in a highly dynamic and competitive environment. The main objectives of the programme is to expose the students to the challenges in the emerging competitive business environment and to develop socially responsive managers for international business by helping in shaping up their personality.
