It has been a month since the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) concluded the 6th Phase of the RRB NTPC Exam (CEN 01/2019). The exam was last conducted on April 08, 2021. After this, RRB has not discussed any updates regarding the RRB NTPC 07 Phase Exam Date. Students who are yet to appear for the exam are in anticipation of when the exam dates will release. They are constantly raising questions regarding the 7th Phase exam dates on various social media platforms.
The RRB NTPC examination has recorded 1,26,30,885 (one crore twenty-six lakh thirty thousand eight hundred and eighty-five) applications for the 35,208 vacancies. Aspirants were distributed amongst different phases to conduct the RRB NTPC Exam smoothly. Examination of around 90 lakh candidates have successfully been conducted over the past few months. As of now, RRB has concluded the examination for Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The Board released the last notice regarding the RRB NTPC 6th phase exam before March 22, 2021, informing the dates and other information regarding the exam. However, there has been no new update regarding RRB NTPC 2021 7th Phase Exam.
It is speculated that the exam for the RRB NTPC 7th phase is somehow postponed considering the disastrous second wave of COVID-19. For the past few weeks, Indin has recorded more than 02 lakh+ cases every day. So to conduct the RRB NTPC 7th Phase exam will be against the candidate’s well-being and social distancing norms of the COVID-19 advisory published by the government. Also, some of the states have announced curfews and lockdowns to control the ever-growing growth of COVID-19. This makes candidates reach their respective exam centre difficult.
No update for RRB NTPC Exam has received a negative reaction from the students who are yet to appear for the exam. Students are questioning when will RRB announce the RRB NTPC exam dates for the 7th phase. Some students wish to know whether the exam is postponed or not officially. A tweet states “For the recruitment in Railways, We have applied in March 2019 but the 1st stage CBT Exam still incomplete in April 2021.”
Considering the deepened Coronavirus situation, it is expected that the RRB NTPC 7th Phase exam will not take any time soon. As we know most of the national level exam including SSC CHSL, CBSE Boards exams are postponed, RRB NTPC is also not left untouched by the deadly disease. Students whose exam is yet to take place must visit the official website RRB regularly. RRB will also intimate the information regarding the exam city and exam date to the registered email address.
