On September 20, 2021, a meeting was held between UP CM Yogi Adityanath and VP, Niti Aayog. In the meeting, the CM thanked the vice president for keeping a positive and helpful vision towards the development of the state in the last four years. He also said the state government welcomes the different suggestions by the Aayog for developing the core areas of the state.

The CM and the vice president discussed a lot of things like primary education of girl children, micro and small businesses, farmers and water resources, village development, clean drinking water etc. The chief minister also ordered to hold meetings of the officers with the Niti Aayog officers every quarter for better implementation of the schemes.

It is because of the suggestions of the think tank, that the government is able to join 8 aspirational districts in the mainstream development programmes. “The parameters suggested by the Aayog helped in developing each of the core areas i.e. girl’s education, micro and small businesses, farmers and water resources” the CM added.

The CM further praised the organisation and said that along with the ease of doing the index, the state has also implemented ease of living index. It is because of these factors that the state government is successful in providing water, electricity, road and banking to each and every district and home.

The state has taken a lot of effort in developing the primary education of girl children. The schools have provided free of cost books, copies, uniforms, shoes and socks to the students. Other than this, scholarship money is also transferred from time to time to the account of students through the DBT model.

The CM also spoke about the state government’s plan of installing rooftop solar panels and electronic vehicles in the state. They have also developed projects to provide irrigation facilities to the Bundelkhand region and have successfully zeroed on the farmer’s MSP.

With the Namami Ganga Yojana, the state government has made sure that all the important projects are been concluded on time. They have also supported organic farming near the river beds regarding fruits and vegetables.

On this occasion, a lot of eminent personalities like Chief Secretary Mr R K Tiwari, Farmer Production commissioner Mr Alok Sinha, Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary Farmers Mr Manoj Sinha, Additional Chief Secretary Development Rajnish Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Radha S Chauhan, Chief Secretary Mr Alok Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mr Amit Mohan Prasad etc were present in the meeting.
