ICAR National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 03 vacancies for the post of Technical Assistant on transfer on permanent absorption basis. The Institute has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the official website niam.res.in. Eligible and intending candidates can apply for the recruitment by sending their applications in the prescribed proforma by January 10, 2021.
As per the detailed notification, the vacancies are available for the post of Technical Assistant in the disciplines of Lab Technician and Workshop Staff. For the post of Technical Assistant (Lab Technician), there are two vacancies i.e. one for Unreserved category and one for SC category. On the other hand, there is one vacancy for the post of Technical Assistant (Workshop Staff) in the Unreserved category. Candidates must note that the vacancies are to be filled up on transfer on permanent basis by permanent absorption at ICAR National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management, Baramati.
Aspiring candidates are advised to read the official notification to ensure that they fulfil the minimum specified eligibility conditions prescribed for the advertised posts. Candidates holding analogous posts with 05 years of regular service as Technical Assistant (T3) under Category-II are eligible to apply. The selected candidates will be posted at Level 5 of the Pay Matrix as per the provisions of the 7th Central Pay Commission. In addition, the candidates must have completed minimum qualifying service as per the recruitment rules and transfer guidelines of ICAR vide Council’s letter dated 19.03.2020.
Applications must be forwarded through proper channel by Directors/Project Directors of ICAR Research Institutes/Project Directorates/NRCs/ATARIs. The application format is provided with the official notification as an appendix which is available at the official website specified above. Applicants must fill up the particular such as name, name of institute currently working in, date of appointment on regular basis in the current post held, date of joining, current pay details, nature of the post (permanent or temporary) and other qualification and category details correctly.
Along with the applications, candidates must also forward the complete APAR/CR dossiers for the last 5 years (attested photocopies). In addition, candidates must also obtain a certificate to the effect that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or contemplated against them and forward the same along with the application form. It must be noted that applications without the attested copies of APAR/CR dossiers of last 5 years and vigilance certificates will not be accepted. In addition, the applications must only be forwarded through proper channel.
