The New India Assurance Company Ltd. (NIACL) has announced the examination date for the Administrative Officers (AO) Generalists Scale-I recruitment examination. As per the official notice released at newindia.co.in, the Phase-I online subjective examination is going to be conducted on October 16, 2021. The upcoming test will be of 100 marks and the time allotted for each section of the preliminary round is 20 minutes.
Although the official notice does not specify the date for releasing the NIACL AO admit card 2021, it states that the call letters along with necessary information will be available 15 days prior to the examination date. So, if the examination is on October 16, 2021, the call letters with reporting time and venue, along with relevant instructions are likely to be available from October 01, 2021, onwards.
Once the NIACL AO admit card 2021 is released, candidates will be able to download the same from the recruitment section of the official website – newindia.co.in. However, they will also be intimated to download the call letters via email/SMS. Right after the link for downloading the call letters is activated, candidates can use their registration number/roll number, password/date of birth to download the same.
After downloading the NIACL AO admit card 2021, candidates must affix a recent photo. The photo should preferably be the same as provided during the registration. On the day of the examination, candidates must carry the call letter, photo ID proof (original) and a photocopy of the same photo ID proof.
Please note that eligible candidates who have shown interest in availing of the pre-recruitment training will receive necessary information and instructions on their registered email IDs in due time. The pre-recruitment training will be conducted online and candidates must keep checking their email IDs for updates.
Phase-I or the preliminary examination will comprise of three sections namely English language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. The English Language section is going to be of 30 marks while both Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude are of 35 marks each. The medium for both these sections will be English as well as Hindi.
Candidates have to qualify in each section and secure passing marks as decided by the company. An adequate number of candidates who qualify in each category will be shortlisted for the Phase-II or main examination. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 300 (tentative) vacancies are going to be filled. The category-wise distribution of the tentative vacancies is 46 (SC), 22 (ST), 81 (OBC), 30 (EWS) and 121 (UR). PwBD category has 17 vacancies.
