National Institute of Animal Biotechnology is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellow. The detailed notification for the same with Advertisement No. 14/2020 is recently released on niab.org.in. NIAB has announced only 01 vacancies for Senior Research Fellow recruitment. The online application link is now available. Candidates can submit their forms by September 02, 2020 by 05:00 PM.
NIAB is recruiting candidates for the DBT funded project with the title “To understand the role of Cytoplasmic linker protein-170 in the down-regulation of TLR4 signalling. Candidates who are shortlisted as Senior Research Officer works under Dr Girish K Radhakrishnan, Scientist E. Under this fellowship programme, NIAB offers Rs. 35,000 per month along with 24% HRA.
Candidates interested in the NIAB recruitment must possess a master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology etc). Along with this, they must have qualified the NET examination. Those who possess a post-graduate degree in the professional course such as MVSc, M.Tech in Life Sciences etc. are also eligible for the announced post. Candidates who have not prepared for the NET examination are also eligible for the Senior Research Fellow post. Such candidates are advised to go through the notification once before applying.
Aspirants must have a minimum of 02 years of work experience in research. They must have experience in the fields of Biochemistry, Immunology and Molecular Biology. Candidate’s upper age limit must not exceed that of 35 years. However, the maximum age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates as per the Government of India instruction.

Hereafter, they have to click on the ‘apply online’ link to start the application procedure. Before application form, candidates have to register themselves by providing details such as username, email and choosing the password. Use these details to log in and submit the NIAB Senior Research Fellow application form. Submit the online application in sufficient time before the last date to avoid the last minute hassle.
The selection of candidates for Senior Research Fellow is based on the NIAB interview round. The venue, date, time and other details for the interview are not yet out. The schedule will be out soon on the official website so stay updated with the NIAB website. No travel allowance or dearness allowance is paid for attending the interview.
