The recruitment for Adjunct Engineers is announced under three disciplines. Discipline 1 contains Computer Science/ Information Technology and Allied disciplines. To apply for Adjunct Engineers post, candidates must possess B Tech/BE/ME/MTech/MCA/Ph.D/First Class PG Degree in Science for the concerned disciplines. A minimum of 08 years of work experience after the completion of a degree is required. Candidates also have to ensure that the upper age limit does not exceed that of 57 years at the time on application form submission. The engagement of candidates for CDAC Adjunct Engineers is only up to 60 years.

CDAC recruits candidates based on a CV that is submitted by them. A selection committee is formed with the expert’s respective competent authority with the approval of Director-General. Candidates are shortlisted for the presentation/ discussion round based on their eligibility. After the selection, candidates are recruited on a temporary basis only. The engagement is for a period of 02 years which may get extended up to 01 years based on the requirement for the posts. However, the service period may not get extended for more than 03 years under any circumstances.
