National Health Mission, Uttarakhand is recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Medical Officer under the CPHC and Child Health programs. NHM, Uttarakhand is organizing a walk-in-interview in this regard. Eligible candidates have to be present on August 21, 2020, at the specified venue for the interview. NHM, Uttarakhand has announced 11 vacancies out of which 09 are under CPHC program and 02 are under Child Health program. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria have to be present in Office of Mission Director, 3rd Floor, Directorate of Medical Health & Family Welfare, Danda Lakhond, PO – Gujrada, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun – 248001 for the interview. As it is a walk-in-interview, candidates have to appear to the venue sharp at 10:00 AM.
Candidates appearing for the interview must know what documents they should carry. They have to appear for the interview with 02 passport size photograph, valid registration from Uttarakhand medical council, high school certificate photo id proof and address proof.
Only those candidates who have completed their MBBS degree are eligible to apply for the Medical Officer post. They must be registered with the Uttarakhand Medical Council and possess a certificate for the same. NHM, Uttrakhand calculates candidate’s age as on August 01, 2020. The upper age limit of the candidates should not exceed that of 65 years.
Through the walk-in-interview, the conducting body shortlists candidates for the announced posts. Based on the educational qualification and other eligibility criteria, candidates are appointed as Medical Officer under CPHC and Child Health programs. The newly appointed Medical Officers receives a monthly salary of Rs. 60,000/-. Candidates are recruitment for a short period on a contractual basis. Their initial appointment shall be up to March 31, 2021. The service period may get extended based on the approval from Government of India, NHM Uttarakhand and satisfactory performance of candidates. Shortlisted candidates as Medical Officer under CPHC program are posted at Telemedicine Hub, Dehradun and Medical Officer under Child Health program are posted at ECD Call Centre, Dehradun.

HFW Uttarakhand recruits skilled staff to fulfil its objective of providing quality medical services to the residents of the state. It focuses on the development of job descriptions for different categories of Health Staff working in the Uttarakhand Health & Family Welfare Society. The conducting body also works on the development of the training policies, training capacity and training of the trainers of better performance.
