National Health Mission, Birbhum, West Bengal is inviting eligible candidates to appear in Walk-in Interviews for the recruitment of various medical & paramedical staff. An official recruitment notification indicating the same is available at the website of the Health & Family Welfare Department i.e. wbhealth.gov.in. The walk-in interview is scheduled to be conducted on July 31, 2020, at 10.30 AM. Eligible candidates will be selected for recruitment into advertised posts of Medical Officer, Lab Technicians, and Staff Nurses. Eligible candidates are therefore encouraged to go through the advertisement and appear in the interviews for recruitment into the aforementioned vacancies.
As per the official notification, the vacancies are available for the posts of Lab. Technician, Staff Nurse & Medical Officer. There is a single vacancy for the post of Lab Technician under NUHM. 01 vacancy is available for the post of Lab. Technician (NPCF-Fluorosis). 02 vacancies are available for the post of Lab Technician under the Thalassemia Control Program. There are 03 total vacancies available for the post of Staff Nurse for the NUHM & Thalassemia Control Unit. 02 vacancies are advertised for the post of Medical Officer for RKSK Programme, Thalassemia Control Unit, NUHM, etc. 01 vacancy is also available for the post of Medical Officer-DTC (NTEP).
Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics, and subsequently completed Diploma Course in Laboratory Technology are eligible to apply for the posts of Lab Technology. Relevant experience & skills are desirable for the application to the different cadres of the Lab. Technician posts advertised. The upper age limit for all the Lab Tech posts is 40 years except for SC/ST, OBC & PH candidates who can avail relaxations as per government norms. In order to apply for the post of Staff Nurse, candidates must have passed GNM nursing course and proficient in the local language. The maximum age limit is 64 years. Candidates wishing to apply for the posts of Medical Officer must have MCI recognized MBBS degree along with desirable experience. The upper age limit is 60 & 65 years for the posts of MO for RKSK Programme, Thalassemia Control Unit, NUHM, etc. and MO DTC (NTEP).
The detailed eligibility conditions in terms of applicable age relaxations, experience & skills required for each post etc. can be checked from the official notification. Candidates are paid consolidated monthly payment for their services for the period of contract. Applications must be submitted only by such eligible candidates who satisfy the minimum conditions. An application fee of Rs 100/- must be paid by candidates of General category while SC/ST, OBC & PH candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 50/-. The fee must be paid through DD/Banker’s cheque in favor of DHFWS, Birbhum and payable at Suri.
