More than 15 lakh candidates are ardently and patiently waiting the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release the NEET 2021 result and final answer key. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 was held on September 12, 2021, and results for the same yet to be announced. Since NTA has not provided any specific date for result declaration, rumors about the result keep floating around. Amid these rumors, one YouTuber shared a call recording on his recently-uploaded video which was supposedly about a call to the testing agency. This recording claimed that both NEET 2021 final answer key and results will be latest by this weekend.
Surprised by this news, students are now in a fix – whether to believe the recording or not? Since the news has not directly come from the horse’s mouth (NTA) and instead, came via a supposed call recording of NTA, it is difficult to believe. While there may be a possibility of results coming out this week, candidates should believe this news with a pinch of salt.
Same was the opinion of YouTuber Shiven Nikam, the one who shared this recording in his video. In the recording, he asked the NTA official two questions – When will the NEET 2021 results come out? and When will the NEET 2021 final answer key release? To both questions, the official had one reply to give – they will come out by this weekend. Doubtful about the weekend, Nikam stated that if this claim is true, candidates can expect their results to come out by Friday, September 22, 2021, or Saturday, September 23, 2021. Otherwise, one cannot say for certain when NTA will announce the NEET 2021 results.
Nikam further reiterated that the medical entrance exam is circled by abundant rumors. Every day, there is some new update which doesn’t clear things out but, messes them further. While one portal claims something, another news portal claims the opposite. Hence, unverified news can never be trusted entirely.
Looking at past-year trends, NTA only takes around a day or two to incorporate valid objections into the provisional answer key and announces the result soon after. If this trend were to follow for NEET 2021, candidates CAN expect the results to come out by Friday. Since nothing is confirmed, candidates are advised to visit the official website of NEET 2021 i.e., neet.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in to get any latest update in this record.
