NEET 2018 Result will be Announced today at 2 PM; Confirms Anil Swarup,

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce NEET 2018 Result today, on June 4, 2018, i.e. a day before the due date. The result will be announced at 2:00 PM. The date for the release of the result has been confirmed by Anil Swarup, HRD Ministry Secretary. He made the announcement online, by tweeting “CBSE informs that NEET results would be declared today”.

The result will be announced online at the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in or the candidates can also check it at NEET official website, cbseneet.nic.in. Also, like JEE Main 2018 and CBSE Class 10th and 12th results, you may also be able to check your result on the Google search engine.

To check your result, visit the official website of CBSE at cbseresults.nic.in and then click on the link for “CBSE NEET 2018 Results”. Next, enter login details such as Roll Number and Date of Birth. Click on submit button and the result will be available on the screen. After checking the result. the students can download and take its print out for future reference.

Earlier on May 25, 2018, the CBSE released its official answer key for NEET 2018. The candidates were allowed to submit objection(s) in the answer key by May 27, 2018.

The qualified candidates are offered admission under 15% All India Quota seats and State Quota Seats on the basis of the rank obtained in NEET 2018. The counselling for 15% AIQ seats is conducted by DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Whereas, the counselling under State quota seats will be done by concerned State Counselling Authorities.

NEET 2018 rank is not only used for admission in MBBS/ BDS courses, however, it is also used for admission in AYUSH courses. For the academic session 2018, it has been decided that the admission in AYUSH courses is also done on the basis of NEET 2018 score.

The counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will start from June 12, 2018. Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will conduct it online. The qualified candidates will have to registered for it and then submit the choices for the course and colleges. MCC will conduct the first round of counselling from June 12 to 24, 2018.

The second round of counselling will be held from conducted from July 6 to 12, 2018. The candidates who will be allocated seats in counselling rounds will have to report at college and finish the formalities of admission before the due date.

National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) was held on May 06, 2018 at 2255 centers. This year, more than 13 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance test.
