Union Civil Services Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to conduct the Naval Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA and NA) II examination on November 14, 2021. Admit cards are likely to release in the third week of October 2021, in accordance with the trend followed last year. Thus, candidates who have registered for the exam on or before June 29, 2021, shall be able to download the admit cards from the official website upsc.gov.in., as and when released by the authorities. Last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the commission had released the UPSC NDA/NA I and II admit cards at the same time, on August 10, 2020. Subsequently, the NDA I and II 2020 examination was conducted on September 06, 2020, after a gap of almost 26 days. This year, UPSC conducted the NDA I 2021 examination on April 18, 2021. Admit cards for the same were released on March 26, 2021, around 23 days before the exam. Considering these trends, the UPSC NDA 2 2021 admit cards are likely to release in the third week of October, preferably between October 19 and 22, 2021.
Once released, candidates can download their admit cards by clicking on the “e-Admit cards for Various Examinations of UPSC” present on the homepage of the website. By doing so, aspirants will be redirected to another page wherein, aspirants must click on the “UPSC NDA Admit Card” link. Thereafter, they must enter the login credentials to log in to the portal. The admit card shall be displayed in the next step. Candidates have to download the admit cards and take a printout of the same well in advance before the exam for future use.
The UPSC NDA II 2021 written examination shall comprise of two sections or subjects – Mathematics and General Ability Test. Each subject or paper shall be conducted for a duration of two and a half hours’ duration. While the first paper is for a maximum of 300 marks, the second paper has been allotted a total of 600 marks. Thus, candidates will be marked out of a total of 900 marks.
All questions in the UPSC NDA II 2021 examination shall be of objective-type, displayed in both English and Hindi languages. This shall be an offline, written examination and candidates will receive just a text booklet to appear for the exam. Previously, the exam was scheduled for September 05, 2021. However, due to the current circumstances, the exam has been shifted to November 14, 2021.
