Union Public Service Commission has published the official notification of NDA 2021 at upsc.gov.in. The online registration and application process has commenced at upsconline.nic.in. Eligible candidates can apply till 06.00 PM on January 19, 2021. NDA & NA (I) 2021 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on April 18, 2021, in centres across the country. Qualifiers are to be selected for admission to the 147th Course of NDA (Army, Navy & Air Force) and 109th Indian Naval Academy Course commencing on January 02, 2022. Qualifiers of the written exam have to appear in the SSB interviews for final selection which is scheduled to be held between July to September 2021.

How to register and apply online for NDA & NA (I) 2021?
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions for admission to NDA & NA (I) 2021 can apply online at upsconline.gov.in as per schedule. At the aforementioned website, candidates have to click on “Online Application For Various Examinations of UPSC“. One must register at the website at first to be able to fill up and submit the application form.
Candidates can fill up the registration form by clicking on “Click Here for Part-I“. Once the registration is completed, applicants must pay the exam fee, upload scanned images of photo, signature and photo identification and select centres. The Registration ID is generated upon successful registration.
Applicants can log in to the portal to fill up and submit the application form using the Registration ID and Date of Birth by clicking on “Click Here for Part-II“. An application fee of Rs 100 must be paid by all unreserved candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are exempted from the payment of application fee. Registered candidates can also withdraw their applications as per guidelines from January 27, 2021, to February 02, 2021. Admit Cards for the exam releases at the official website 3 weeks before the exam.
NDA 2020 Selection Process
The UPSC is going to conduct a written test on April 14, 2021, for shortlisting of eligible applicants. The final selection of the qualifiers is to be done through SSB interviews. Candidates shortlisted through the two stages of selection are recommended for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 147th Course as well as for the 109th Indian Naval Academy Course scheduled to start on January 02, 2022. The UPSC has announced 400 vacancies to be filled up through NDA & NA (I), 2021.
The written examination is conducted in centres across all major states of the country. Details scheme and syllabus of the exam is indicated in the official notification. According to the notification, the paper consists of two parts i.e. on Mathematics and General Ability Test. Candidates are to be allowed 2.5 hours to complete each part of the paper. The Mathematics part carries 300 marks while the General Ability Test part carries 600 marks. The question paper carries objective type questions only.
NDA 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The UPSC conducts the NDA recruitment exam under strict terms and conditions. Candidates intending to apply for the NDA & NA (I) 2021 must fulfil the specified minimum eligibility conditions. Indian nationals/subjects of Nepal (or candidates fulfilling other nationality conditions) can apply if they are born between the dates of July 02, 2002, and July 01, 2005. All applicants must be unmarried and male. Applicants must have passed Class 12th exam or are appearing in the 12th board exams in 2021.
