National Board of Education (NBE), New Delhi issued a public notice on April 15, 2021, regarding the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2021 application process. According to the notice, the June session of FMGE 2021 is scheduled to take place on June 18, 2021. The national-level entrance exam shall be conducted through the computer-based format across allotted centres in the country. The admission process for the same is scheduled to begin today, April 16, 2021, from 3:00 pm. Interested candidates can apply for the same on the official website nbe.edu.in.
FMGE 2021 June session is going to be conducted on June 18, 2021. The online submission of application form shall begin from April 16, 2021, 3:00 pm. The deadline to submit the application form is May 06, 2021 up to 11:55 pm. Information bulletin for the FMGE 2021 exam has been made available by the concerned authorities on the official website nbe.edu.in. Admit cards for the examination are likely to release on June 11, 2021. According to the information bulletin, the screening test results shall be declared tentatively by June 30, 2021.
Candidates applying for FMGE 2021 have to click on the FMGE 2021 option on the homepage and then select the “New User Registration” option. Thereafter, they must fill all the required details such as name, gender, date of birth, email ID, nationality, and mobile no. After this, they must click on the “submit” option to receive the User ID or application number and password on their registered email ID.
The User ID and password are the login credentials which candidates must use to login to the official website. After logging-in, they can access the FMGE 2021 application form which they can fill in one sitting or multiple sittings. Candidates have to fill important details in the application form including passport number and validity or any government-issued ID proof, address details, educational details and marks obtained, etc.
Aspirants must also upload important documents such as Permanent Medical Qualification Degree certificate, Proof of Citizenship, Eligibility Certificate, photograph, scanned copies of thumb impression and signature, etc. Candidates who had appeared for FMGE in the past and were deemed unsuccessful have submitted their documents to NBE in the past. However, they must again submit the required documents for FMGE 2021 June registration.
The next step includes selecting the examination followed by paying the prescribed application fee. Examination centres shall be allotted on a first-cum-first-serve basis. After selecting the preferred exam city, candidates have to pay Rs.6000 along with 18% GST of Rs.1080. The total fee amounts to Rs.7080 which is excluding the additional charges of using a payment gateway.
Candidates have to pay the FMGE 2021 June session fee using a Credit Card or a Debit Card. Any other payment gateway shall not be permitted to pay the application fee. Candidates must carefully check all the details entered in the application form before submitting it. They must also take a printout of the same for future reference.
NBE shall be providing correction facility to all candidates from May 09 to 11, 2021 to make all the necessary changes. Furthermore, A separate editing window shall be provided from May 21 to 23, 2021 for making changes in the photograph, thumb impression and signature of candidates. Beyond the specified dates, no correction requests shall be entertained by NBE authorities.
