The Department of Education, Government of Meghalaya has released the admit cards for Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test or MTET 2021. Candidates who have registered for this examination can now download the admit cards from megeducation.gov.in and megpgrams.gov.in. MTET 2021 will be conducted on October 09, 2021.
To download the MTET admit card 2021, take a look at the steps given below.
Step 1- Visit the official website of the Department of Education, Government of Meghalaya – megeducation.gov.in
Step 2- On the right-hand side of the window, find the section titled ‘Directorate of Educational Research and Training’
Step 3- Click on the ‘Download E-admit card for MTET 2021’ link
Step 4- A new page will open where one has to enter their first name or a part of their name
Step 5- Now, click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 6- The MTET admit card 2021 will appear. Candidates can download and also take a printout of the admit card.
MTET 2021 comprises two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. The first paper or Paper I is for lower primary teaching while Paper II is for upper primary teaching. The examination timing for Paper I is from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM while that for Paper II is 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Please take note that the MTET admit card 2021 contains details such as candidate’s name, parent’s name, roll number, examination centre name, timing etc.
On the day of MTET 2021 examination, candidates must carry a hard copy of the admit card. Candidates must affix a recent passport-size photo on the admit card. They must also carry two or three copies of the same photograph to the examination centre. The admit card also states the reporting time of the examination. However, candidates should reach the examination centre at least two hours prior to the reporting time.
Further, electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, etc. are prohibited inside the examination hall. No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam gets over. In addition to the MTET admit card 2021, candidates must carry valid ID proof such as aadhar card, PAN card, passport, driving license, etc. for verification purposes.
Paper I of MTET 2021 is divided into five sections from which 150 questions will be asked. Each question carries 01 mark and hence the total marks for this paper is 150. Similarly, Paper II is divided into four sections from which 150 questions will be asked. The fourth section of this paper is a choice-based section depending on whether the candidate wants to teach Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. This section carries 60 marks.
