MPSC Rajyaseva Prelims examination conducted by the Maharashtra Public Services Commission was held today January 23, 2022 in two different sessions for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 was conducted in the morning session from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm while Paper 2 was held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The UPSC model examination is conducted to recruit candidates for various Group A and Group B posts under the Maharashtra government.
The MPSC Prelims examination consisted of two parts containing General Studies(GS) and Civil services aptitude test(CSAT). The GS section consisted of questions from Current affairs, History, Geography, Polity and governance, Economy, Social Development, Environment, and Science. The CSAT section contained General mental ability, Basic numeracy, LR (Logical reasoning) and analytical ability, Decision making and problem-solving, English Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, etc.The exam was of objective type with 400 marks to be awarded in total. There was ¼ negative marking for each negative answer in both the sections. The question paper was available in both English and Marathi mediums for the convenience of everyone.

MPSC Rajyaseva Prelims 2022 over- What next
As the prelims exam is over, the officials will release the answer key within the next few days. Candidates should start intense preparations for the mains examination without any delay. The dates for the mains examination have already been announced and will be conducted on May 7, 8 and 9, 2022.
MPSC Rajyaseva Prelims answer key 2022
The answer keys for the prelims examination is likely to be released within a few days after the conduct of the examination. It is expected to be released by around January 27, 2022. After the release of the draft answer key candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections regarding the same for a few days. The final answer key will be prepared after considering the grievances of the candidates.
MPSC Rajyaseva Prelims Result 2022
The MPSC will release the results soon after the release of the final answer key. The result is expected to be announced in the month of February to enable the eligible candidates to prepare well for the mains examination. The cutoff marks will be based on the total number of students who appeared in the exam and available posts as well as the difficulty level of the same. Since there are only 290 available posts, it is expected that the competition will be tight this year.
It is estimated that around 3 lakh candidates appeared for the MPSC Prelims examination held in about 37 test centers across the state this year.
