Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up vacancies for the post of Medical Officer. The Commission has published the detailed recruitment advertisement in this regard at the website mppsc.nic.in. Eligible and intending candidates can apply for the recruitment online at the website mponline.gov.in. The online application process is commencing on December 18, 2020, from 12.00 PM. The last date of receipt of online applications is January 17, 2021, till 12.00 AM at night. Following this, print out of the submitted application form must be sent to the office of the Commission along with self-attested copies of supporting documents on or before January 30, 2021.
As per the detailed advertisement published by MPPSC, there are 05 vacancies available in total. Among these, 04 vacancies are for Medical Officer (Medical) post and 01 vacancy is for Medical Officer (Non-Medical) post. MPPSC RECRUITMENT 2020 FOR MEDICAL OFFICER DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT
Candidates appointed to the post of Medical Officer (Medical) are entitled to remuneration in the scale of 15600-39100+6000 GP. In addition, they will receive a special salary of Rs 150 and 25% NPR. Candidates appointed to the post of Medical Officer (Non-Medical) are entitled to receive the same remuneration except for the NPR. Having an MBBS degree for Medical posts and relevant qualifications for Non-Medical posts is mandatory.
MPPSC has clearly specified certain eligibility conditions for applicants to fulfil in order to apply for the recruitment. It is mandatory for all applicants to be registered with the Employment Office of Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and below the age of 40 years as on January 01, 2021 in order to apply. The age of superannuation is 62 years. Candidates may note that relaxations on the upper age limit are applicable as per government norms in vogue and indicated in the detailed advertisement.
Selection of eligible applicants is to be done through an interview process which carries a total of 100 marks. Based on the number of applicants, the Commission may conduct a selection test. In such case, details are to be intimated through the official website and/or through the registered email ID and mobile number of the applicants. Candidates are required to secure at least 41% marks in the interview in order to get shortlisted for the final merit list. For reserved categories, the minimum qualifying marks is 31%. In case a selection test is conducted before the interview, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the test as well as in the interview.
The application process is conducted online and candidates are advised to read the complete application instructions appended in the detailed advertisement. Unreserved candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500 while reserved category (SC/ST and OBC-NCL of Madhya Pradesh) have to pay a fee of Rs 250 in order to apply. In addition, GST charges amounting to Rs 40 and other portal charges have to be paid by the applicants.
