Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued the latest recruitment notification to fill up 32 vacancies for the post of Law Clerk cum Research Assistant. The vacancies are to be filled up on a Short Term Contractual Assignment basis. Interested candidates can read the notification and apply online at the website mphc.gov.in by paying the application fee. Applications can be submitted online starting from February 26 to March 18, 2021. The High Court is going to conduct online examination for the selection of candidates from the pool of eligible applicants.
As per the latest notification, the vacancies are to be filled up under the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on Short Term Contractual assignment basis. Appointed candidates are to be paid a monthly consolidated salary of Rs 20000. Applicants are advised to read the notification carefully before starting to fill up the online application form. At first, one must ensure that they fulfil the specified minimum eligibility criteria as laid down by the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
Only Indian citizens who have a graduate degree in law (including Integrated Degree Courses) from any Institute recognised by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an advocate. Similarly, those who are studying in the final year of 5 year’s Integrated Law degree are also eligible to apply. Furthermore, applicants are required to have the basic knowledge of Computer Applications including MS Office including retrieval of desired information from various search engines/processes such as Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis and Westlaw etc. The age of the applicants must be within the lower & upper limits of 18 and 30 years respectively.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of an online examination. The date, time & venue of the examination is to be intimated in due course of time. Initially, the venue is selected to be at Jabalpur. However, if required, the High Court may also conduct the exam in Bhopal, Indore & Gwalior.
As per the official notification, the examination will conduct of an MCQ type paper and the test is to be administered on computers in physical centres. There are 150 questions in the paper which must be solved within a period of 120 minutes. Candidates may note that negative marking is applicable for this recruitment selection test.
