The Madhya Pradesh Computer Proficiency Certification Test (MP CPCT) 2021 has been successfully completed today. The test that was scheduled for two days, started yesterday, i.e. August 07, 2021 and ended today. However, with the completion of the test, candidates are now in tenterhooks regarding the declaration of results.
In 2020, the MP CPCT was conducted over three days, i.e. on February 22, 23 and March 01, 2020. Moreover, the results were declared on March 23, 2020. The difference between the last exam date and the result date was 22 days. Similarly, in 2019, the MP CPCT was held in August and October. For the August session, the examination dates were August 03 and 04, 2019 while the results were declared on August 29, 2019. Mathematically, the results were declared just after 25 days from the last exam date. The exam for the October session was held on October 05 and 06, 2019. However, the result was declared on November 04, 2019, i.e. 29 days after the last exam date.
The MP CPCT 2018 exam was held on February 17 and 18, 2018 while the result was announced on March 07, 2018. The difference between the last exam date and the result date was only 17 days. Taking cues from the previous trends of the declaration of MP CPCT results, it can be said that this time, the results are likely to be declared within 30 days from the examination date.
Although the Department of Science and Technology of the MP government has not released any official date for declaring the results, it is very much likely that the MP CPCT 2021 results will be declared by September 07, 2021.
The MP CPCT 2021 results will be in the form of a score card that will carry the total marks secured by the candidate for both the MCQ paper and the typing speed (Hindi and English). Once the result is declared on the official date, candidates will be able to download their score cards via their user account from cpct.mp.gov.in. Note that if a student wants to view or check their answer sheet, then they have to submit an application within two weeks from the declaration of the results. An application fee of Rs 100 has to be paid.
CPCT has now been made a compulsory test for data entry, IT operator, steno, shorthand and other positions in the various departments, agencies and corporations of the MP government. This online-based exam, using MCQs and a typing test, assesses the proficiency of the candidates if they want to get employed in the mentioned government jobs.
