The application procedure for SSC MTS 2020-2021 is now over. According to the SSC Twitter Account, more than 40 lakh aspirants has applied for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) exam. Eligible candidates will receive the SSC MTS admit card on the third week of June 2021. Also, The preliminary examination (Paper 1) will take as per schedule from July 01 to 20, 2021.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the online application procedure for MTS for 45 days starting from February 05, 2021 to March 21, 2021. Now that the application procedure is over, candidates can expect their admit card a few days before the examination. To get the SSC MTS 2020-2021 admit card, candidates must visit ssc.nic.in. There, they will find the direct link to download the SSC MTS admit card in the Latest News Section. Also, keep the username/ registration number and password (SSC Registration Password) ready to log in and download the MTS call letter.
Aspirants can check all the crucial details regarding the SSC MTS Paper 1 Exam through the admit card. Also, some important instructions for the exam day are published and conveyed to candidates through the SSC MTS admit card. They must carry a hard copy of the call letter, 2 recent coloured passport size photograph, PwD certificate and original valid ID proof to the exam centre.
Furthermore, SSC MTS Paper 1 examination is an online Computer Based Test. Candidates will get 01 hour and 30 minutes to answer 150 multiple-choice questions. The topics from which the questions are asked include General English, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General Awareness. These questions will be available in both Hindi and English language except for the language section. Each question carries 01 marks and a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
SSC has also announced the Exam Dates for the SSC MTS Tier-II Exam. It is scheduled to take place on November 21, 2021. Complete details regarding for Second Phase of SSC MTS 2020-2021 will be available after the prelims result is out. Tier-II is an offline examination that contains descriptive type questions. Candidates have to write a Short essay or Letter in any language as per the 8th schedule of the constitution. It carries a total of 50 marks. Before final selection, qualifying candidates are invited for the Document Verification round. However, the final selection allocation of state/UT for MTS posts (Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Farash, Mali) is based on the candidate’s performance in Paper 1.
