Registrations for the 2021 Military Nursing Service (MNS) recruitment are scheduled to start from February 17, 2021. As per a short notice on employment dailies, the Indian Army is going to release the detailed notification on February 13, 2021. With the release of the detailed notification, aspirants can get to know about the rules and regulations of the exam. MNS recruitment exam is conducted by the Indian Army for recruitment of unmarried female candidates after completion of 4 years B.Sc Nursing program at selected Colleges of Nursing of the Armed Forces Medical Services. As per the short notice, registrations for MNS 2021 will be open from February 17, 2021, to March 10, 2021. Interested candidates can register online to appear in the selection test. The Army conducts a Computer Based Test for selection of the candidates for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing course. After successful completion of the course, qualifiers are granted Permanent/Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Services. The exam date of MNS 2021 is not known yet. Candidates can expect the Army to announce the exam date once the official notification releases at joinindianarmy.nic.in. However, as per previous year trends, it is being expected that the MNS Computer Based Test 2021 can be conducted in April 2021.

Based on previous year MNS examinations, the selection method is expected to remain unchanged this year. The Army conducts a Computer Based Test at first for the initial selection of eligible applicants. Thereafter, qualifiers from this test are shortlisted through personal interview. Final selection for admission to 4 years Nursing courses is done after the conduct of Medical Examinations which is mandatory to qualify. As per previous year exams, candidates can expect the Computer Based Test to be based on the subjects of General English, General Intelligence and Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
Indian Army specifies strict eligibility criteria for recruitment through the Military Nursing Services. Only unmarried female candidates are eligible for recruitment through the MNS exam. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. One must have acquired at least 50% aggregate marks in order to apply. Furthermore, applicants must be at least 18 years of age while the upper age limit is fixed by the Army by considering relaxations for reserved category candidates.
