VIT Spreads Wings: Hyderabad Office Opened For Students To Easily Get Information

The primary purpose of the admin office will be to act as an information centre to the aspiring candidates and parents. Also, to corroborate, build corporate relations with IT, software and core companies.

VIT Hyderabad office has been launched with the primary purpose of facilitating aspiring candidates, parents as an information centre and to corroborate, build corporate relations with IT, software, and core companies. The inauguration was done by the Chief Guest Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary to the Govt. Industries, Commerce and IT, Telangana State.

Ramesh Kaza, Senior MD and Country Head -IT, State Street India., Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT and Dr. S V Kota Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, VIT-AP University were also present.

Dr. SV Kota Reddy, Vice Chancellor at VIT-AP highlighted how the entire teaching-learning process at the university is centred around the seven schools offering UG, PG, 5 years Integrated programmes, and Research Programmes.

The B. Tech Admission is based on VITEEE Rank. In the engineering stream, courses offered include B. Tech CSE, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Business Systems (In with TCS), Robotics, Data Analytics Networks and Security, Artificial Intelligence. ECE, ECE-VLSI, ECE-Embedded Systems and Mechanical Engineering.

VIT-AP School of Business (VSB) has topped with best of the management courses, to offer a world class BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) programme. VSB offers various three year BBA Programmes with opportunities for students B.B.A in General management, Business Analytics, FinTech, and Digital Marketing.

VSB has International Credit Transfer Agreements with University of Michigan, Dearborn, USA (UMD) and Arizona State University, USA (ASU) leading to BBA from UMD and BS Business Analytics from ASU. The courses are B.B.A (with 2+2 option of continuing at University of Michigan at Dearborn), B.B.A in Business Analytics (with 2+2 option of continuing at Arizona State University).

VIT-AP School of Law (VSL) is a foray into contributing to the social innovative paradigm of VIT-AP. VSL is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI)and offers 5 year integrated B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programme.

The B.Com. (Finance) courses has ben also introduced this year.

VIT-AP also offers specialised 5-year Integrated Programmes for students after 12th Standard. M.A. (Public Services) with exit option BA (Public Services) with Integrated Coaching for UPSC. It also offers 2-year PG Programmes in M.Tech. (VLSI), M.Sc. Data Science, M.Sc. Applied Physics, M.Sc. Chemistry. Further Research Programmes leading to a Ph. D are offered in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Law, Humanities, Languages.

VIT-AP had stellar placements for its first batch of B.Tech students with multiple offers for several students. Also worthy of mention is over 76 companies offered 440 placements this year as mentioned by Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT.
