Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) is going to conduct the Military Nursing Services (MNS) B.Sc (Nursing) Course entrance examination in April 2021. The last date to register for the entrance exam is today i.e., March 10, 2021. Authorities are expected to release the exam admit card on the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in by the second week of April 2021. Admit cards shall be issued only through the online mode and not though any offline sources or via post.
DGMS began the MNS BSc Nursing 2021 registration process on February 17, 2021, for female candidates only. Interested and eligible applicants could access the registration form on the official website i.e., joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date to register for the entrance exam is today, March 10, 2021. Subsequently, authorities are expected to release the admit card through online mode by the second week of April 2021.
Admit cards shall be generated only for those candidates who have successfully paid the application fee and entered the DU number correctly in the application form. Authorities can reject the candidate’s application in case of submission of an incomplete form or more than one application, non-payment of application fee, etc.
The MNS BSc Nursing 2021 selection process involves three steps – the computer-based examination, medical examination and interview. The computer-based examination is scheduled for the month of April 2021. The exam is of 90 minutes duration and comprises 150 questions of 1 mark each. There is no negative marking in the examination.
The question paper is divided into three sections – General English, General Intelligence and Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). Each section shall comprise 50 questions and for a total of 50 marks each. Candidates who qualify for the online examination shall be subsequently called for the interview and medical examination in the month of June 2021.
The interview and medical rounds shall be conducted at selected centres. The interview section holds a maximum weightage of 100 marks. Moreover, candidates shall be notified about their FIT/UNFIT status in the medical examination by the President of the Selection Medical Board (SMB). Moreover, candidates shall also be informed about the process of requesting an appeal or review of their medical status by the board.
MNS BSc Nursing 2021 final selection of candidates shall be done based on the combined scores of computer-based examination and interview round. The combined merit shall also be subjected to overall medical fitness of candidate, choice as well as a vacancy in each nursing college affiliated with the Indian Army.
The entrance examination is expected to be held in the third week of April 2021. The last date to register for the same is March 10, 2021. Authorities are going to release the admit card soon on the official website.
