Maharashtra State CET Cell is going to announce the MHT CET 2020 result soon. The entrance exam was held from October 1 to 20, 2020 and it is expected that the result will be out by November 11, 2020. There is no official date for the release of the result and the tentative date is as per the previous year data.
Before declaring the result, authority will release the official answer key. It will also be released on the official website, which is mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in. After the release of the answer key, candidates might get few days to challenge it. The result of MHT CET 2020 will be prepared on the basis of final key.
To check the result, candidates have to look for “MH CET 2020 results” link on the homepage and click on it. After this, they have to enter login ID and password in the spaces provided and click on the ‘sign-in’ option. After signing-in, candidates can locate their marksheet in the dashboard and click on it to download the document. They can also take a print-out of the same to proceed for the future admission process.
The MH CET 2020 scorecard consists of important details pertaining to the exam which play a key role in deciding the candidate’s chances of getting in to a college of their choice. The score card includes information such as MH CET 2020 roll number as mentioned in the exam admit card, application/registration number, category, candidate’s full name, father or husband’s name, mother’s name and marks obtained in each subject.
The Maharashtra State CET cell is also expected to release the official answer key in November 2020 before declaring the final results. However, just after the exam, various unofficial answer keys were released by teachers and coaching institutes for candidates to get a rough idea of their exam score. However, these answer keys may not be completely reliable but are helpful to calculate the approximate score. To access the official answer key once released on the official website, candidates are required to login using their registration ID and password.
Authorities have also released the official statistics of the total number of candidates that have applied for the exam as well as gave the exam. Out of 4,51906 candidates who filled the application form, 1,66,107 candidates appeared for PCM subjects and 1,95,275 candidates appeared for PCB subjects. A total of 90,524 candidates appeared for both PCM and PCB combinations. MH CET 2020 was previously scheduled in May 2020. However, due to the COVID19 pandemic, the exam was postponed and was conducted in different shifts in September 2020. Results for the exam are expected to come out soon.
