Osmania University will announce Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) and Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (PGLCET) 2020 results on November 6, 2020. The result will be announced online, on lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates can only access their result through the online mode and not via any offline sources.
To check the PGLCET and TS LAWCET result, the candidates have to locate the result link on the homepage of the website. After doing so, the student login opens and candidates can access it by entering their hall ticket number and date of birth. Then, after filling-in the credentials, candidates need to click on the ‘submit’ button. Following this, the result is displayed on the screen.
In the result, details such as examination roll number, name of candidate, rank obtained in the exam, marks obtained in each subject, status of result and candidate category, etc. are mentioned. The rank of the exam is prepared on the basis of score in the exam.
The conducting body has also specified a tie-breaking system in case two or more candidates get the same score. In the TS LAWCET exam, candidate who has scored higher rank in part C is considered first to break the tie. In case the tie still remains, older candidate shall be given higher priority. In the TS PGLCET exam, candidate who has scored higher rank in part A is considered first to break the tie. In case the tie still remains, older candidate shall be given higher priority. The TS LAWCET and PGLCET results are going to be declared on the same day in November 2020, as informed by the authorities.
The minimum qualifying marks for TS LAWCET 2020 is 35%, i.e.42 marks out of 120. Whereas, the minimum qualifying marks needed for TS PGLCET is 25%, i.e 30 marks out of 120. The SC / ST candidates are exempted from this.
A total of 30,310 students had appeared for the exam this year. Out of the total number, 21,925 aspirants had applied for the 3-year LLB program whereas 5,694 candidates had appeared for the 5-Year integrated LLB program. Only those candidates who have scored equal to or more than the qualifying cut-off shall be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment.
